At the height of the pandemic when millions of people were suffering, many celebrities were whining about how bored they were cooped up in their multi million dollar mansions. Dolly took the time to read bedtime stories to children online for frazzled and stressed out parents and donated 1 million dollars to the research and development of the Moderna vaccine. Dolly's Imagination Library has also been responsible for donating over 200 million books to children under the age of 5 and under in five different countries around the world. She doesn't do any of these things for public recognition or praise...she simply has a pure and compassionate heart and truly enjoys helping people and improving the lives of her fellow human beings.
She's a humanitarian before she's anything. Truly.
