GREAT BAND!!! Along with Loudness, among my most fovorite. They should have become much more popular. Very strong musicianship and songwriting for Metal.

I loved the first album, although the production was terrible. Second album was drivel, too many non-EZO written songs, the record company trying to cash in on the pop-metal that was popular at the time.
I think Gene was going for a new sound although it might be the most vicious guitar tone of all time. Second album was Fire Fire and it was all them and intense. Also, obviously the had a few Flatbacker releases prior to either of these.

Good band. They opened up for Guns and Roses here in Brooklyn, NY at Lamours.
Billy Caputo saw them open for skid row in nyc once too. Forgot club name. Great band!

確か1983年辺りのラウドネス札幌ライブのリハで山田雅樹の事実上のオーディションが開催されたはず
フラットバッカーがデビューした時山田がラウドネスから誘われたとインタビューで言ってた
ヴォーカルの山田さんは声は凄いけど割とかわいい顔してるので隈取りメイクはあった方がいいかも
