CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE NUGGETS?! Everyone knows Lebron isn't retiring so how about we give Joker and the Nuggets their flowers. They just swept the team that Nick said had the biggest slice of title pie and according to him "Everything is lining up PERFECTLY for the Lakers" The disrespect is enormous.
That's how media works, see when they are winning against the Grizzlies and the Warriors, Lebron got a good squad, now after the lost, he doesn't have enough help
Lebron gonna retired and came back in 2025
Lebron saying he might retire is a big thing because idk if you heard but he is the best if not 2nd best player to ever play basketball. So yes, Lebron retiring is more important than the nuggets 🤷🏿♂️
Nick is a homer, he has no credit
NOBODY OUTSIDE COLORADO CARES ABOUT THE NUGGETS BRO
"The Denver Nuggets sweeps Miami and Jokic ends game 4 with a record 102 points 23 rebounds and 17 assists! ... but first we have to dedicate 45 minutes of our 50 minute segment on basketball to talk conjecture about Lebron's legacy."
So Nick thinks load management is bad unless Lebron does it. I’m shocked.
You should watch that segment over again
They're really not going to talk about bringing back Dennis the Menace? Dude is a staple of this team and they need to keep him.
That is true.. He may have not been awesome this series but he needs to stay, he's earned it
That’s true, but the only issue will be negotiating his contract and salary. We were lucky to get him on low cost

@@OMG-si3wn -- This is a horrible and shameful statement as it suggests that the NBA doesn't exist outside of whatever team LeBron is on this week. The NBA needs to be more like football where everyone just wants an entertaining game regardless of what teams make it to Super Bowl. NBA fans need to support whatever teams make it to the Finals so that the sport doesn't struggle to exist without a figure head like LeBron to keep it afloat.
The reality is that once LeBron retires the sport will likely struggle because I don't believe Wembanyama is going to be the big deal that the NBA are already making him out to be. The NBA and the media that covers it needs to put just much attention on smaller market teams as they do LeBron or things will be dire.
Suns took the Nuggets 6 with 2 guys and the narrative was how they should be ashamed of themselves. Lakers got swept with apparently a great roster and suddenly its about how great the Nuggets are. Anything to protect Lebron
The Lakers battled every game, albeit they lost every game. But every game was close. The Suns and KD (with the Nets) got their hearts snatched for the second straight year.

Just a year or so ago maybe two y'all was saying he was having the best season of his career 🤣 I'll tell you this. The warriors he beat don't beat the prime spurs I don't care how many teams they beat that year. Delly doesn't do that to parker Tristan can't deal with tim Duncan. At all. Kwai got lebron. If you want to give him kyrie it's closer but warriors work best in THIS style of play calling and gameplay. This small ball lineup doesn't work in hakeems time.
@@raymondsims7042 no reason it can't be both.
If Lakers won Nick would have brought out a marching band 😂😂
Gassing him up doesnt mean playing 48minutes, shooting 80% from the field, getting his teammates engaged, guarding Jokic and Murray on the same possession and getting stops. Even MJ didnt guard the other team's best player or set up his teammates while scoring himself. You're mad hes getting praised and now overreact asking him to do the impossible things.
Nick said Lebron’s shooting will eventually go up and it didnt. Nick said Lakers were fine after 0:2, they lost 0:4. Nick said Celtics surrendered, they won last night. Nick campaigned for Embiid to win MVP instead of Jokic which turned to be catastrophic. Unfortunately for him we watched the show and we still remember all this.
Also, said the Mavs would win the title, Lakers would win and Sac would beat GSW
Lakers shouldn’t split up. They have a good team. They need 82 games playing together.
He really said Lebron loosing is more important than Denver sweeping them is wild to me
Wildes gave the Nuggets what they wanted for about 30 seconds then moved unto real business 😂😂
Take that pay cut LeBron and get healthy let the Lakers fill out the roster, if it's really about winning follow Tim Duncan's blueprint and take $10 million or less salary and keep this current roster except D-LO and sign Kyrie.
Exactly! Similar to what Tom Brady did in NFL, take a pay cut so that he can have a winning team. I guess Lebron is so selfish that he won't give up this salary, instead it keeps demanding that the organization get players, but with what money? They are already capped.
@@jackchen6632 why does he even need more money? This extra money must be peanuts to him at this point
Kyrie got swep with KD in Brooklyn vs Boston, right now is make not diferent in LA with Lebron without AD
Lebron ain’t taking a pay cut😂
@@jaydon7956 He's a billionaire and his claims of wanting to win means he better take that pay cut in salary. It'll be his 21st season in the league and the Lakers have no salary cap space to fill out the roster let alone resign all these guys (which they should sans D-Lo if Kyrie commits) this Lakers team was really good.
They simply needed another Center and a player besides AR-15 that can get his own in pivotal moments and run it back.

People reacting to LeBron in the Lakers losing more than they are the Nuggets winning
Honestly, there's a lot of hope for the Lakers. They just need continuity like the Nuggets. The fact that they mostly added some key pieces after the all-star break and still made the conference finals is impressive. But developing continuity with members of your team is very much underrated in this league.

Brou’s point that Lebron may have realized he can no longer affect the game like he once could is so valid. We’ve been so used to seeing Lebron teams win a game like that last night that when it didn’t happen it shocked not only us but probably him too. He thought he could demoralize this team in the first half and they would lay down but credit to them for fighting back and negating a great performance
He shot 26% from three all series and didn't play well until game 4. Lebron is very strategic, he knows if he shows up for the close out game and plays well and shifts the focus to his "retirement" it will take away from his lackluster performance in games 1-3 and shift all blame to Anthony Davis, who is the actual best player on the Lakers and is the real reason they even had a fighting chance in this series. Lebron walked off the court in game 5 and 6 before the game was over, couldn't even wait for his teammates. Wow what an amazing leader and teammate.
Wildes is hilarious and telling the truth, 16:19 he says "I thought you took care of that, we did it as a team" when responding Nick crying about him not slurping Lebron during the game, because Nick literally made 8 tweets talking about his "historical game" and bringing up a bunch of uncorrelated and disjointed stats and comparisons to other players to make Lebron look better and how nobody ever in the history of mankind had a game like this at 38, right before he hit the side of the backboard and the game ended finalizing a sweep.
Well, when that particular 38 year old plays 48 minutes with a 31 point first half.. only to lose.. I think something needs to be said about the overall team and/or opponent.

The end of this video is Gold 😂😂😂😂😂
I'm no LeBron fan, but the man played more minutes than anyone on both teams and scored more points than anyone on both teams in his most recent game at the age of 38. That's beyond commendable!
Why aren't you a fan of Lebron?? If the results are there...
He got swept. He can’t close games. Jokic and Murray both outplayed him in the series.
Don’t you know you basketball? Do you know that sometimes that’s the strategy? Let Lebron get what he wants and don’t let anybody else beat them? Watch the game again. Look how they not really double teaming him in the first half.
They knew he would gas out.
And he also won 0 games. Zero. None. Swept. Everyone picked the lakers to win the series before game 1. They didn’t win a single game. What do those stats mean? Was he actually more impactful than Jokic at all? Did he take over clutch time like Murray? Or did he brick 3’s and lose the ball in big moments? Yeah it was good numbers for a 38 year old but also who cares
The Lakers need more size and depth. They need to keep the core of LeBron, Reaves, Rui, AD, Vando, & Max. And fill out the rest of the roster with tall 3&D players. PG, SG, SF, & the Center positions need major upgrading.

I just hope this isn't the last ride for Lebron yet. The fact he play a whole game without resting and drop 40 pts at age 38 is truly incredible. Lebron feels like he has to carry every game knowing his age and body can't all of that at this point. We all know that his son is coming in the NBA in about two years so we will see where he goes from here.
