1980s? There were no MBO405s in the 1980s, even then they don't use ZF back then until the MKII O405s (TIBs).

I don't know how it is in your areas but the Original O405 in Germany came out in 1985. But you're right. They didn't have ZF back then, only Daimler Gearboxes until 1990.

I think this had 5HP500 on

frish frosh it's a 4 speed gearbox, thus the 4HP500 designation.
As you can hear, there was no cat call during deceleration which differentiates it from the 5HP and the 6HP.
