I feel like a lot of these products were made by people who wanted to know *how far* copyright would go. Seeing the Starbucks CEO punch the ground in anger after they couldn't erase Starducks out of existence. It makes their day

I saw a display of cans labelled what I thought was "10 LIVES" and thought "how cute, a knockoff of 9 LIVES cat food from a country unfamiliar with the significance of nine lives and cats. Picked up the can to look closer and the 1 wasn't even and I started laughing out loud that they didn't just change the number from 9 to 10, they changed the *character* and turned it into something that promises to kill your cat once and for all. Zero lives! Called my girlfriend over from next aisle to show her
She looked at the can puzzled and said "I don't get it. What's wrong with this can of OLIVES?"

At 3:25 I couldn’t take it anymore. My grandma bought a movie for my little sibling and I called Impy’s Island, which is the movie where the boy and pig in an apron are from. It was about a dinosaur that thawed out from ice, ended up on an island, and talking animals had to keep it from an evil British guy that wants to make taxidermy out of the dinosaur.

Fungus the Bogeyman far predates Shrek! It was a book written by Raymond Briggs (an English author/cartoonist) in the late 70s. He's more well known for writing When the Wind Blows, a graphic novel about a nuclear attack on Great Britain, written in 1982.

As someone that's actually seen Vampire's Suck, 'Super Fast' is less a crappy off brand and likely more parody. Vampires suck was a complete piss take (Mockery) of the Twilight movies, so less a crappy off brand as much as it is an intentional parody.

Super Fast is a spoof movie. The first movie was called Starving Games. They’re pretty funny and just entertaining to watch when you’re in the mood for a simple movie that’s laidback and funny. It’s fun when you’ve watched the original and can point out the references and such
