Stewart and Carmichael were always faster and more determined than reed. Reed just kept consistent and never give up attitude Reed kept the pressure on them but was never as fast
RC4, CR22 and JS7 era was the best and most exciting racing and rivalry in SX history!! It's just a pity that RC retired when he was still in his prime and could have easily stayed on top with James and Chad into the 2010's. But I totally understand why he retired, when you have lost the passion and he became a father, your life wants to change its course. I'm just so pleased that these 3 guys gave us spectators so many on the edge of your seat races. I also think that today's tracks are besides the floor plan are all the same, the jumps the same, rhythm sections the same, the whoops are the same. There is hardly any variety now and I feel that it makes for boring racing! Back then the variety seemed to allow riders to pass and repass whereas if a rider gets past that is the end of it. And if there is a battle it's only for a lap at best or a few corners. I also remember the racing back then being unpredictable... You just did not know what might happen. I love watching the guys ride but it is almost boring now.
