    Great breakdown - hilarious when it’s up against the snooze fest commentators. “Interesting size river bet… let’s wait and see how it breaks before I provide any analysis or opinions…” and then “could dnegs have opened with 580? I think maybe” - edge of your seat context cheers boys

    Nice check trap there on the river. QJ would most certainly have played out the way it had on this kind of board. I'm going to also start calling points in the hand nodes, feels very scientific! Your explanations of what hands in the range do in certain nodes are really helping me improve my own mindset. This is how you have been so successful at the game, and continue to do so :)

    I totally understand your play and agree with it 99% but the 1% that I don't agree with or maybe I don't understand it.... is why would u check the flop with JQ? That's what u said and my question is don't u wanna bet the flop with top pair against maybe AK, AQ ?
    If I was in the hand against you I would've thought that is more likely to have Q9 than QJ just cause it makes sense to check the flop with a 9....
    But again you are right.. your raise on the river suggests that you have a better hand than a straight!

    We love this daniel! One question, wouldn't it be smarter for ur oponent to bet between half pot and 2/3 pot? I guess if he is betting small with the intention 2 call a raise, he will save money if he bets bigger himself because you can only reraise him with a fullhouse?

    • @CanariasCanariass

    Agree with everything except for the raise size, that size was possible as a lead. I think after he puts even more chips in you are giving him such a good price it is hard to believe you could have a bluff. He shrugged and calls knowing he is beat and can’t fold. I don’t see why you would not go for a size that he at least has to consider folding.

    • @hidude1354
      @hidude1354 Рік тому

      maybe queens with bad kicker yes, but petrangelo's range consists of better queens like kq, aq, and sometimes q10/q9. those would probably just be betting to target jx. also, i think nick was mentally prepared for dnegs to be wide and just sigh call an xr.

    Daniel is a great reader of hands and game in general..
    Its disappointing to see him sometimes make silly plays even after calling out the hands loud!..
    Also what happened with doug Polk seriously made me lose respect for him..
    But still he is a legend of the game and should focus more on his hands rather than overthinking and making stupid plays , which as fans or supporters is irritating to watch cos I believe he is yet to reach his prime!
    P.S.. If Dnegs is reading this, only wishing the best for you😊❤
