Volbeat is rocking!! I discovered them about 2 months ago and I absolutely love the guitar, drum, bass, and vocal work. The groove to songs like shotgun blues, the devils bleeding crown, and seal the deal just get me so hyped that I want to benchpress a refrigerator. Lol.
This is the 1st song I've heard from them and it is effing killer!. Wish I had been a fan of them beforehand because after this, everything else I've listened to by them is just alright.
Pool of booze, another day another way, 7 shots & of course the song that introduced me to this band by my cousin in Denmark; Sad Man's Tongue. This band can throw down harder than people realize, and they fucking nail their live performances.
I am going to see them in the spring because they are supporting Ghost on tour. I didn't know anything about them, so I've checked out a few of their songs. So far, pretty good!
Volbeat is one band that I found that can successfully pull of songs in almost any genre that they want...I have heard everything from country to Slayer type songs in their catalog...and they all work...
Not surprised by the Metallica comparisons ,,, there’s a reason they are my two favorite bands. Volbeat is just a little more versatile in my option. Some fans don’t like that, they want the tried and true, I happen to love it and love everything they do, old and new. I prefer heavy,,, but like the change of pace occasionally 🤘
I've never heard of Volbeat until I heard this song on the radio in Missouri about a week ago. I immediately said "Ok Google who sings this"? Wish I had heard or had been a fan of them prior because I've found nothing else from them yet that I really enjoy. Shotgun Blues they freaking NAILED! I truly have to jam to this at least once a day and on repeat lol
@@briefcaseblues6061 same for me but the song was “ Hangman’s body count “ in 2013 and I went home and looked them up on UA-cam listened to some other songs then went to Amazon and bought all their albums ( cds). Now five live shows and 3 new albums since, I’m as big a fan as ever

Yes, Don't Tread On Me reaction next (hopefully)! Good call on blurring part of the video, too. The heavy/groovy/catchy combo is one of the things I love about Volbeat. And while I get the Metallica comparison, I think this song definitely would've been different if they had done it, especially in the vocals and drums.
i saw this band with Ghost recently here in Phoenix. they are both faves of mine. they kick ass and they love Johnny Cash. first time i saw them in ohio and they played a few cash tunes.
I feel the same. Outlaw gentlemen was their last good cd. I had hopes for this new cd after hearing this song, but the couple other songs released were terrible imo
@@TheAdventuresofTNT oh dang, that sucks. So did you like the tune or no? The first time I heard it the different tempo and style (especially the chorus) threw me off, but after a second listen I started to like it a lot
As a Dane? Love your vid! But yeah you never know what u gonna get. Every album up to this one has been "sing-along" (not my flavour) But this album? Where Michael (lead singer) goes back to his roots with the band "Dominus". Yes please!
I hate how poeple compare bands to Metallica especially volbeat. Volbeat has a whole distinct sound, so distinct I consider them a whole different genre, country metal/rock.
No! It’s metal-vikings from 🤘🇩🇰Denmark 🇩🇰 🤘Metallica and Megadeth is inspired by the danish bands Mercyful Fate and King Diamond🇩🇰🤘 Don’t always think that everything is invented in the US!!!
'Something Else Or', 'Healing Subconsciously' and 'The Human Instrument'. Gotta check out the original Volbeat. Before they started making cds with a pair a good singles and filler crap the rest of the way
@@nedrini1387 sayn they've stuck to there sound n I loves em in gen n 4 it . yano just being them ..idk ..i have other faves from em..asshole song at show people's go bonkers .good time
Dude, everything can't sound like a mid 90s Metallica song, they don't especially in you know mid 90s Metallica. That's been your call on FFDP and Volbeat. Respectfully disagree. Appreciate the vid tho.

Volbeat are great! Check "Sad man's tounge " and "Die to live"!
Stll counting "ass hole song" is a fave 4 most ..
Best song on the radio right now. When it comes on while I'm in the car my right foot starts twitching and the psedometer starts climbing quickly.

Co - Headlining Tour....they are as big as Ghost.
@@Neilbear5820 My apologies. I was under the wrong impression, apparently. 👍
Me too in February. I saw Ghost when they were an opening band a few years back. They opened for Deftones and A7X
Going to see Volbeat in February
You absolutly right 👍👍👍
Awesome reaction brother! Need to hear the other two releases from this new album, “Becoming” & “Wait a Minute My Girl.”
Volbeat has through the years become a fav of mine. Hardrock with that metallic sound is so good!
I'm gonna have to look up band love this song so far.
Yup. Upcoming album, as soon as this Friday!
"Lola Montez" is another good one by them!
Interesting, it's catchy and groovy without feeling commercial, I dig it 🤘🤘

Volbeat “Still Counting” is worth checking out.
Now that's a fucking tune maybe seal the deal aswell

I could go for a new, good, Volbeat album, their last two weren't for me but I am a fan of their older albums.
I feel the same. Outlaw gentlemen was their last good cd. I had hopes for this new cd after hearing this song, but the couple other songs released were terrible imo
Their new album is so good. The Devil Rages On is my favorite off the new album
New Volbeat- . The Devil Rages On
Favorite song on the new album
Volbeat- Mary Ann's Place
You must hear this whit the singer Dave Matrise.
Gotta do Room 24 from Volbeat it has King Diamond in it.
This song along with other Volbeat songs have a good motor to them.
I saw them live and they are so amazing. If you like that old Metallica vibe you can’t go wrong with Volbeat
Volbeat's Domino Song is Pretty Awesome!!
You didn't record the reaction to Don't Tread on Me???? I wanted to see that, lol

Seal the Deal is awesome dude
The lead singer has always said he is heavily influenced by Elvis, Johnny cash, Metallica and slayer so that why you're getting that vibe man
Architects - Gravedigger
Is that a growl 😂

Volbeat - Evelyn (Ft Barney Greenway from Napalm Death)
