I dont like these comercial music crap, and all they usually are, are people without the amount of talent we used to have with the old bands, making it less pure and more comercial. But out of all of them, this girl, Lady Gaga, wow, she has soo much talent and creativity its amazing. She is by far the most talented singer we have out of the new modern music. I hope she would focus more on this type of music and exploit that great voice she has, I believe she has a voice that can hit notes people will be amazed and priviledged to listen too, that in her normal music she usually doesn't aim for them, or she does it in a less conventional way. But if she were to do it also in a conventional way, she wouls outperform most of the real musicians we all love... Keep up the good work, my hat is off to her

It makes me really sad how artpop was such an underrated album. Honestly, it is such a great album. I genuinely love it and I have no idea why people hate it. I guess most of people's music taste now sucks lol
She's playing on a digital piano while he's on an acoustic one. Since digital pianos don't require room to resonate as they produce sound, well, digitally, there's no reason for it to be larger. An acoustic piano requires room to generate a louder sound when the chords vibrate, hence the long tail. Surely, he might as well have played on an upright, as it's definitely wired and even a smaller instrument could have its sound technologically enhanced, but I really don't think it's a matter of respect as much as preference. We usually see Gaga using digital pianos, whereas Elton seems to enjoy acoustic ones more...

Lady Gaga named herself after a Queen song and Freddie Mercury was a good friend of Eltons. Must be interesting for Elton to see an amazing talent that his friends existence helped create. In some ways Gaga was probably influenced by both Freddie and Elton making her a slight creation of theirs.
Her song "You and I" uses Queen's beat for "We Will Rock You," but it's slowed down quite a bit. Then she's got a song called "The Queen." And Queen has a song called "You and I" and "Radio Gaga." So many Queen references in her career, and I'm sure I'm missing some others.

This performance is beyond epic! It's like a battle between those two as they riff together throughout the song! And I love how they changed some of the chords to make it sound less pop like and more like a concert piano performance. Those faces are the faces of someone who is enjoying performing and is really into the music and the staging is simply reminiscent of how piano performances used to be, it's not messy... not every stage performance has to be a spectacular feat of technology and structure

Are we ready to have the discussion that ARTPOP was Gaga at the height of her artistic creativity and innovation?? She put her soul into this album, and had it stamped out by the general public and came back more watered down and afraid. Nothing she’s put out has been as real as ARTPOP. Chromatica has been a step back into that space, but I really hope she is seeing the love for ARTPOP now and getting back to that creative freedom. This was raw and powerful and anyone that can’t see that is lying to themselves. 💜

It always amazes me how piano players can remember long songs like this recite them. They make it looks so easy. Especially in those heels Gaga! She is QUEEN. I also love Elton in this. I like his funky piano bits.
Harrison Kaye at a certain point you know how certain combinations of notes sound together and their equivalents on different octaves, so you don’t really need to learn all the notes by heart. In fact, they are freestyling a lot in that video, which makes it even more amazing!
Wow! The interplay between Gaga and Elton on this song and the way their piano playing interwines with the melody is awesome. Two very accomplished musicians and pianists just rocking it and having a great old time. And the band backing them up. They truly deserve the credit to keep this thing moving along. A great sounding band and those musicians should be proud about how they are supporting two very accomplished musicians. A great, great, song. You can tell that Elon is really digging this and how much he respects the musicianship that Gaga (Stefani) brings to the table. This is a really neat video. And the Artpop album is so underrated.

Theatrical to the nth degree. From a 'not classic song' (Elton John) through jazz (Tony Bennett) and film music (Sound of Music - 2015 Oscar highlight), Lady Gaga does it all in her own super-stylish way. Some impressive lady.

Lady Gaga named herself after a Queen song and Freddie Mercury was a good friend of Eltons. Must be interesting for Elton to see an amazing talent that his friends existence helped create. In some ways Gaga was probably influenced by both Freddie and Elton making her a slight creation of theirs.
Name Gaga has had David Bowie’s peace sign tattoo on her wrist since before she was famous!
Her song "You and I" uses Queen's beat for "We Will Rock You," but it's slowed down quite a bit. Then she's got a song called "The Queen." And Queen has a song called "You and I" and "Radio Gaga." So many Queen references in her career, and I'm sure I'm missing some others.

This performance is beyond epic! It's like a battle between those two as they riff together throughout the song! And I love how they changed some of the chords to make it sound less pop like and more like a concert piano performance. Those faces are the faces of someone who is enjoying performing and is really into the music and the staging is simply reminiscent of how piano performances used to be, it's not messy... not every stage performance has to be a spectacular feat of technology and structure

Are we ready to have the discussion that ARTPOP was Gaga at the height of her artistic creativity and innovation?? She put her soul into this album, and had it stamped out by the general public and came back more watered down and afraid. Nothing she’s put out has been as real as ARTPOP. Chromatica has been a step back into that space, but I really hope she is seeing the love for ARTPOP now and getting back to that creative freedom. This was raw and powerful and anyone that can’t see that is lying to themselves. 💜

Yes, the music is phenomenal, but what really makes this performance special is that they are both so full of joy and the chemistry is amazing. What really gets me is that Elton looks as though he feels privileged to be up there with her. ELTON JOHN. One of my favorite Gaga performances. It always amazes me how piano players can remember long songs like this recite them. They make it looks so easy. Especially in those heels Gaga! She is QUEEN. I also love Elton in this. I like his funky piano bits.
Harrison Kaye at a certain point you know how certain combinations of notes sound together and their equivalents on different octaves, so you don’t really need to learn all the notes by heart. In fact, they are freestyling a lot in that video, which makes it even more amazing!
Wow! The interplay between Gaga and Elton on this song and the way their piano playing interwines with the melody is awesome. Two very accomplished musicians and pianists just rocking it and having a great old time. And the band backing them up. They truly deserve the credit to keep this thing moving along. A great sounding band and those musicians should be proud about how they are supporting two very accomplished musicians. A great, great, song. You can tell that Elon is really digging this and how much he respects the musicianship that Gaga (Stefani) brings to the table. This is a really neat video. And the Artpop album is so underrated.
