Hi, there is no need to add a Core to Beolab 28 unless you also want to connect a non B&O TV. Audio playback is high quality using just the speakers

Been watching your videos and love them
I recently bought a 5500 system ( record player, cassette deck, CD and receiver and controller. Turns out two units need repair). I am eyeballing a couple of used refurbished B&O S45 speakers. Could you please tell me if these are a good fit and what is the max dollars I should pay for . Thanks much
Thanks for your kind words, glad you like my videos! That sounds like a great system, sorry I can't tell you what to pay as this will be different in each country. I suggest checking eBay sold prices in your area to get an idea of values.
