- Coverage for the following nations and factions from 1270 AD until just prior to the introduction of Swiss-style pike tactics and Hussite war wagons: Anglo-Irish, Aragonese, Austrian, Berber (Hafsid), Berber (Marinid), Bohemian, Breton, Burgundian, Castilian, Danish, English, Florentine, Free Canton, Free Company, French, German (Imperial, Feudal and City armies), Granadine, Hungarian, Irish, Italian (Guelf), Italian (Ghibelline), Lithuanian, Low Countries, Milanese, Navarrese, Neapolitan, Papal, Polish, Portuguese, Rus, Scots, Swedish, Swiss, Tatar, Teutonic Order, Venetian, Welsh. Each of these has their own historically-based banner.
45 new 14th and 15th century units.
96 more army lists allowing historically realistic armies for each of the above factions and their allies at different dates during the period, and bringing the total number of Medieval army lists to 242. In addition armies can include contingents from historical allies. This gives around three hundred thousand permutations. You will never run out of new matchups to try.
8 more historical scenarios covering key engagements of the period on an epic scale: Courtrai 1302, Laupen 1339, Crécy 1346, Kulikovo 1380, Aljubarrota 1385, Castagnaro 1387, Grunwald 1410, Agincourt 1415.
48 more historical matchups added to Quick Battle mode, increasing the total to 198, playable from either side.
5 more historically-based campaigns covering major leaders and conflicts of the era: Hundred Years War (English), Hundred Years War (French), Sir John Hawkwood, Henry of Trastámara, Władysław II Jagiełło.

Thanks for showcasing this battle. I've just purchased this DLC and Crecy is the first game I have lined up in multiplayer. If I have to make an observation about what you could've done differently, I'd have to say that you didn't use your archers to maximum effect. You seem to have made most of your shots at half arc rather than turning and shooting. If you had done you would have created more casualties and more disrupts/frags which would have made the French charges less effective.
I don't know if you ever watch SnuggleBunny but he is one of the best players of this game who makes content for it. He has a golden rule that a half arc shot with units which still have ammo is generally a waste of arrows. Anyway, hope that comes across more as an attempt to help rather than as an attempt to bash. I agree that Storm of Arrows looks stunning and can't wait to get stuck in.

@@MedievalWargamer Been playing it all day, lol. You're right, it's fantastic, though I'm still learning. I'd love to see someone make a program to link this game to Crusader Kings III, so you can play the campaign in CK and then fight the battles in this.
@@feanor3791 Actually that would have been a great idea! I know there is a mod that links CKIII With 1212 AD total war but i believe FOG would have been much better suited.
No Nik, your miniatures look better than this. This game continues to look great. I like the terrain and the continuous melee. I'm sold on playing the HYW campaign.

What do you prefer about this game over say Total War? Personally, I like the simplicity and table top feeling of it.
me too my friend! This game represents perfectly a miniature tabletop game. .and as a miniature gamer i prefer it to the other strategy games. Obviously Total war games are great but for me this is more pleasant! Thank you for watching!
I have tried this scenario several times now and it just seems to be unwinnable as the English. It appears that in order to balance the scenario, the designers have made the Genoese crossbowmen much better than they were historically. I'm not giving up though, there must be a way to cause a chain reaction of breaks and win the battle before the 2nd and 3rd waves turn up!
Yes totally agree with you the Genoese are very strong! This was my first attempt that ended in destruction..😂😂…currently I am trying a second time..
