I rem watching Chelsea (was new to EPL) a lot with Vialli and co but once Kanu moved to The Arsenal. Rest is history! My Love for this club went of the roof in the struggling years. (Waking up 3am to watch us lose to stoke city 🤣)Thanks to Edu for bringing back the class. Proper way to run a club like The Arsenal. Am looking more forward to wats to come now. Excited times ahead.

There’s a whole list of high price players who were affected by the price tag expectations, a whole list; lukaku, Maguire, mudryk, Pepe, coutinho, Nunez, you can even add grealish.. it wouldn’t be a shock if rice were to be too but at least he doesn’t look like he’ll be, which is a good thing
He is genuinely so excited and so happy to play for us and the thought of winning everything with us makes me very happy of what Mikel is doing with our club 👏 the Arsenal’s “different knock” is back in full 🍻

@@elixir9261 The fact he is a captain at a young age is telling. He is well spoken, ambitious, vocal on the pitch, wants to win a radiates a positive energy to get others along. He is clear about his goals and where he and the club want to go. And the leadership thing doesn't just come from social media, but from the people he has been working with.
Odegaard is a our captain and he will stay our captain. But like Xhaka, Zinny and Jesus, Rice doesn't need the armband to be part of the leadership group.
Kane? Well he is gonna retire at some point. That's simply an age thing.

What I love the most about Declan Rice is how 'nice' and decent he is, unlike most footballers these days. Seems like a really humble, grounded fellow. You only need to take a look at his wife to know everything about him as a person.
