True! Always wanted to go to a concert but never managed to actually go to one. I wonder what the stories of all those amazing people are. I'm curious about what they and if they feel the same as I do. I'm in a band myself; but we're not doing this kind of music. One of our members sent a song into the group chat and our band coach was asking for the message of the song. That was when I realized - after being convinced of the complete opposite - that songs don't need a message. It was sort of a very poetic song, that made you feel something, that drew pictures in your head, that didn't need a message like "keep going" or "fight for your dreams". Maybe songs sometimes are only written for the purpose of making other people feel something. Fuel their happiness. Fuel their sadness. Support their motivation, to calm you down or to make you angry. Maybe songs only are there as a reminder of times that once existed. Maybe some songs are only written to make you feel less alone. And that's why I love this kind of music, it makes me feel things way better. I feel the anger and the disappointment and especially for Daughter I feel all the god damn pain delivered within these songs. And, for once, I guess this is a good thing.
