I have not yet mounted this as I have had couple of family emergencies and deaths that have kept me busy and on extended travel. I do plan to mount it just above the top of the garage. However, I have tested the quality of it manually, both at night and during the day.
The day time quality is absolutely amazing; the night vision is pretty good and sharp and can capture good quality for a relatively good long distance. Hopefully when it's wall-mounted and stable, I can post a video of the quality. I don't want to share now because it was held by hand and you can see the movement of the hand. Hope this helps. I heard about this chip shortage stuff but its not true, this camera is selling like hotcakes, as it comes into stock its sold out asap. cool video.

Yes, that is true, the camera goes out of stock pretty fast because they are unable to order large quantities due to chip issues, at least that is what companies state. We have been out of covid for 2 years now, so there is only so long they can use the chip shortage excuse. Honestly, some companies, I'm not saying that Ubiquiti is one of them, use this tactic to increase demand of their product.
