:) -Thanks so much. Really glad you enjoy the channel. Sounds like you're familar with the Toyota vans... they sure can be plenty of fun. I'd love to have a true JDM version Master Ace Surf. Take care and happy travels! :)
Thanks so much and I agree whole heartedly. Totally Love being in the outdoors and especially exploring new areas. Hope you and yours are doing well in El Salvador. :)
So glad you enjoy them. :) I’d truly love to see some of your Liteace vids from way down south. Make sure you comment on my channel when you get anything posted up.
Hi there. Sorry such a late reply. You're right he can go almost anywhere. Just wish I could lock the diffs ;) As for water, I've installed a HiAce breather since this video came out, making water much less of an issue. Keep an eye out as I'll have another video in the future about the snorkel update. Thanks for watching and happy travels. :)
Thanks Charles. Crusty is a constant work in progress. As for the rain shields, I couldn't find anything online, So I ended up making them myself out of Lexan. I still need to perfect them a bit. Who Knows, maybe I'll do a vid about it at some point.
A little nervous when you went through that water with the air intake just above the bumper. Made me think what if we do a modular swap out and use the hose of death cutout and divert air intake to my moon roof or in you're case panel or passenger side window. Beats drilling a 4" hole on the side of the van. Thoughts?
Yeah- I didn’t realize it was gonna be that DEEP!! Thankfully I had just installed the axle and transmission breathers not long before this. Since wading the puddle, I’ve been revisiting the idea of the snorkel to get the air intake up higher. I probably will do something similar to what you see on the Delicas. Coming out the side most likely. Still mulling over exactly the best method of routing. You can bet when and if I do it- I’ll def document it. Thanks for keeping up with the adventure. :)
@@scott.wallace8625 sure thing- I’ve got a comprehensive video about how to do it. I do like having it sealed for noise damping and to keep the road dust and fumes controlled. I guess I’d be concerned about that stuff getting into the cabin of it we’re open. I have actually considered coming through the firewall behind the airbox and up the inside wall like a chimney. But you’d still need a penetration at the ceiling to get fresh air in. So I figure I’ll just go outside behind the drivers door when the time comes.
It’s a great area and look forward to exploring more. I just wonder if they open up the other fire roads in the summer season. Those would be cool to check out.
Случайно нашёл ваш канал, мне нравятся ваши видео. Когда то у меня тоже были минивэны Toyota Master Ase Surf 1985 2wd,1988 4wd.

Now im thinking also use that hose of death cutout too install a fan to prevent hotwash in summer

@@GraeSkyeStudio thank you for putting it out there. Are you familiar with the hose of death cutout?

@@scott.wallace8625 def need to address the heat soak. I’ve got that issue as well from time to time. A fan of some sort will help tremendously.
Lol they always forget how slow we are
Lol. Ryan’s getting used to it. :)
