I love what I've heard from Intervention Records. I was introduced to IR through the first Flying Burrito Brothers release a few years ago. Gorgeous record. I have an original promo pressing of that record and prefer the IR release. I also have the Gene Clark and This is Big Audio Dynamite, both of which are terrific. Keep up the great work.
Not sure if I’m going deaf but the sound is still very low, watch frank at channel 33 rpm his volume is perfect, still love your channel I’m amazed at how much vinyl you buy

If you have not checked Craft Recordings, part of the Concord Group, they are releasing some (not all) audiophile records. I find your audio volume a bit low & less clear than your previous videos before the new microphone.
Hi Michael, you do need a little more volume. My Analogue Productions, Coltranes “Love Supreme” and “Ballads” came in today about an two hours ago and they are fantastic and yes you are right here, they are better than my original stereo copies. I have that an original of that Joan Armitrading. Did you experience a slight warp in your Thelonius Monk Pablo Alto, I did in two copies. I returned the first one and the second copy has a warp, but now a lot of stores locally and some online are temporarily out, so I will hold onto it for now. I’m sure that Audiophile copy is great. Michael have you done a Room Tour yet, if not you should. Good Information and thanks.

Also looking forward to seeing your audio equipment. Mine is for the most part vintage, except for my new Yamaha amplifier. My turn table is a vintage Technics direct drive with an updated Audio-Technica cartridge and headshell. Lastly, please, please increase the volume. The audio is clear but too quiet. If you love Judee Sill there's a video of her performing The Kiss on BBC that is one of the best things on UA-cam. The shorter video is best because the longer one has a sharp end to it. IMHO, essential viewing!
Intesting with these (to me) new label that produce great soundin records. I`ve been meaning for some time now to reocommend Pink Floyd -Puls ( Rem. By Bernie Grundman), that still might be in print or at least still in a few stores. Great soundstage, with ” I`m there” -feel. (could have had a brighter top-end for my equipement, but nevertheless fantastic). All the best /joachim
Yep I think the volume still needs to be slightly louder as I also had to still turn the volume up compared to other youtube videos, no criticism, just saying as you asked. Love your videos and looking forward to the one on your HIFI equipment. Again no criticism as your English is brilliant (and I think you may be better than me and I am a native speaker),; but I think the phrase you were looking for was 'it is in the works', although often when an English person says this it never turns up :)
Michael, I love your videos, but I can barely hear you in almost all of your videos. You're videos are recorded very very low it seems, even with my computer's volume all the way turned up. What I'm liking about Intervention Records over the past few months is realizing that they are putting out audiophile quality pressings of records that you might not ever find mastered and pressed in audiophile quality with other audiophile reissue labels, such as Stealers Wheel, or even The Church (which I've seen on their website). Really glad you're doing videos spotlighting Intervention. Lookiing forward to part 2. Cheers! - TONE
Just a side note I commented a couple of weeks ago I was disappointed in the Taj Mahal a night of acoustic music well I was wrong I listened to it again with a different mind set you were right a wonderful album
I bought the IR version of Joe Jackson's I'm The Man perhaps a year ago on sale to try out the label, so this album was my first impression. As they say, first impressions are lasting impressions. The side A label was extremely off-center in the vinyl. No arguments with the sound of the record, but it gave me a terrible impression of their quality control and I haven't purchased any more IR records since then. It'll be interesting to hear your thoughts on part 2. Cheers, Tom
If I may recommend an absolutely fantastic Jazz box set check out the Don Rendall/ Ian Carr Quintet - The Complete Lansdowne Recordings 1965-1969 from Jazzman records. A 5 LP set that’s truly amazing. Prices are getting pretty high now. Cheers from California!

Yeah, I think you still need to higher the volume a lot more...compared to all the other videos I was watching, yours was the lowest, I had to turn up the volume for yours. But thanks for trying to get it right. Doing a great job. Can’t wait to see the tour of your entire music room, not just your audio equipment.
