Roylander Manuyama - The life and times of a Peruvian ayahuasca jewelery craftsman

Roylander Manuyama Pezo is a jewellery maker of the famous ayahuasca necklaces we so often see. Roy has been designing and manufacturing them for the past 18 years when the ayahuasca tourism started growing in Iquitos, Peru.
He has been invited by Johan Harlaar and his friends to visit South Africa and tour through the country. He will be giving talks in Cape Town and Johannesburg from the perspective of the local population in Iquitos. He will show us designs of his art and will also demonstrate how jewellry is made, and will also share fascinating insights into live into Peru and the ayahuasca tourism scene in Peru.
