- Today I go out looking for some brand new Funko Sodas and Funko Pops. I also go to Walmart to see if I can find the new Funko Soda Exclusives.

Awesome pickups! I hate that people are opening Sodas up in store it's ruining it for everyone else. I've not encountered it yet (I don't see sodas that much in stores though I mainly get them off Amazon) and I'm glad you haven't encountered it
Kahorri is a new character that Marvel is introducing in season 2 of What if? She will be their first Native American hero. I have her and her chase. I believe the name of the episode will be What if the Tesseract landed in Early America? This would lead me to believe she will get her powers from the space stone.

surprisingly enough, the only sodas i find open are at Barnes, Hot Topic, and gamestop. all walmarts/targets ive been to i havent seen many if any opened
part of me feels like the people who took pictures are the ones who opened the sodas
In my experience, the Funko section in Walmart is always a mess and even when I order online they come damaged. I’m not surprised that sodas are being opened inside of the stores.

I bought a soda once and I thought it was sealed until I got home and noticed the bottom was opened. So sad.
My Walmart had the Funko soda stand it was by the phones counter but my Zombie Iron Man doesn't have a Walmart sticker on it maybe they forgot to put it in the can 🤣.

I was hunting some NECA TMNT’s for there Haulathon stuff and at the first target I went to there was a guy with a scale weighing the sodas and just taking the Okoye chases. I saw him at 2 different targets.
Nice video! We've been checking those Walmarts for the displays too...and to see if we bump into you! 😂 Love that we live next to each other haha. Anyways we've decided to boycott the sodas that don't have piece counts. Think it's lame they've decided to do unmarked runs.
Walmart already has trouble selling pops even if they are really cool ones and they end up just sitting on the shelf for months on end so they shouldn't have started to get in sodas too
Yeah all the ones at my local wally world are opened.
Flippers/scalpers can't afford the Soda chances, so they are just going to open them up in store, just like almost all the Trading Card Games like Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic, etc.
A lot of Walmarts will not use the Soda displays sadly because they don't want to use floor space for Vendor PDQs. They will put them up on shelves like you were seeing. I used to work at Walmart for years, and they hated putting PDQs up since they take up floor space, displays get beat up/destroyed and become messy.
I guess i never noticed but, sodas really cost $15?

I have never pulled a soda chase in my life honestly. I have had to buy the few that I own on Ebay or Mercari. I also have terrible luck in general though.
