Abscess is the first differential diagnosis when horses suddenly become three-legged lame. Scares the hell out of owners who assume a broken leg 😮. X-rays are always a good thing-speedy recovery Aengus!!

We were definitely nervous when we saw it at first too, but we're so happy that his pain is clearly already going down relatively quickly!
I read that a horse will hide its illness as long as possible not to attract predators. He had probably been in pain a while. Glad he is better! And Rio is such a cute support horse! It was funny the way Aengus swung his head around like " who are you calling dude?"🤣🤣🤣🐎💖
