DAMN! As a Lance Main (relatively new to World), this is a pristine run! Gonna use Xbox layout: I have noticed that you use the super-guard to chain into the hop-stab (R2+B -> A -> forward+Y). If you don't need the super-guard, (you don't due to your awesome positioning) you can actually go MUCH faster into the hop-stab by simply inputting (R2+Y -> B). THIS hop stab is a multi-hit, and you get block frames before you press B to initiate the hop-stab. If you're still gonna get smacked, you can opt to shield bash which gives you some more block frames (R2+Y -> Y). Awesome run :D

Not bad. Probably could shave off a few more seconds with more attention to the standard counter thrust. Lots of trips...maybe gems/amulet to nullify those? Evasion mantle does nothing here IMO if you know Nerg as well as some of us do (you guys too). That attack damage on that lance all stacked up like that though is a sight to behold. 😎👍
I have not played MH much.. but at what point do monsters start leaving those item drops on the ground BEFORE the fight? i thought they only happened when you dealt dmg to them? you can see the nergigante material first thing.
I played lance for like 200 hours and I am nowhere this level of mastery.. I feel I abuse too much guard dash and that gives a lot of "pause" before I can start poking again.

Okay, So how many people are actually a part of Team Darkside. I can't tell if there is 5 or 4. I'm pretty sure I've seen 6 different names total but you can have 3 saves per game. Also, you guys are gods when it comes to speed runs. The fastest I've ever done any elder dragon was 12 mins with the Maxed out Pink Rathian Gunlace.
Justin Rankers this is something I also want to know. I already have a Jho Fiendish Tower. But not Nergs because I need Xeno'jiiva parts and thinking if worth the farming.
K.D. Fukuyama personally Jho is way better. Higher attack, more white sharpness...it’s not much but that shouldn’t be a problem with protective polish. And the negative affinity is gone with weakness exploit and affinity boosters.
*_As a lance main, I can argue that you could shave off some seconds if you could better understand timing and countering and whatnot. You got hit twice back to back, which could have been a perfect opportunity to counter or power guard -> counter. Great video tho!_*
Nicely done! I admit, I didn`t expect that a spear can actually deal large amounts of damage, but this was devastating! A bit boring to watch, but devastating nevertheless :D

I miss the MH4U decoration system. Building is so much better than grinding, the tempered elders punish way too hard.

Don't attack the horns, attack his weakspots. Nergigante's weakspot is anywhere the spikes grow (if it's not already black)
