Piva lake canyon is probably my favorite place in Montenegro. When we used to live in the country, almost every summer weekend we were trying to escape seaside heat and go somewhere to the mountains, usually Pluzine and around (town on Piva lake). Its amazing chub fishing spot, lake is full of it, - both on spinning and float roads :)
Can you show your groceries next time. I am so curious about different countries food. Even a look at the inside of the store. You are brave to drive those roads!
Thanks. We try to remember taking a cam to store next time we go grogery shopping. Filming is not usually alloweded inside of stores (I dont understand why) and if there is a mean looking guard who follows us, we are too afraid to film anything 😩😆 Supermarkets are pretty similar all over Europe, but Bosnia has propably the cheapest prices. Thanks for your comment.
What breathtaking views, I began to have vertigo! The rock tunnels were amazing and I feared for your chimney. So sad about the previous history of the Bosnia region when it is so beautiful and hope that one day all the mines will be made safe. When will you fit your new tyres, in Serbia? Happy travels.
As soon as you said "Goradze", I thought I recognized the name from the war. Google refreshed my memory. Indeed, I was recalling correctly that it was besieged. There were horrible video reports from the town at the time. Your travels are always interesting not just for local history, but also the settings and your adaptations to them.
Holy cow That"s so great looking place 🎉 for some reason I was waiting when you turn camera upside down in the tunnel, it would cause heart attacs!😅 Drone is important tool there, it's not affected by steep mountain sides, or mines! Just don't crash it in the middle of mines ... Maybe rc car?
70% of population here has zero waste management, everything goes in nature unfortunately. We tourists see litter and stray animals, but locals have a way bigger problems to deal with. There is a huge brain drain, goverment is a joke and ethic tensions are bubbling under. It is going to be hard to change culture around here but everything is possible.
Sounds like lots of discussions are being had on the future. Whatever you decide, I'm sure it'll be well thought out. Hooray for New Country Day and Cheap Beer!! Hopefully the weather cools off soon, but at least there are decent places to take a dip. 🫡😊🚚
We use Revolut card when ever there is no Euros used. In Bosnia they always want cash, so we just ask how much and just withdraw money from the wall (with the tip). We hate carrying cash around and usually when we are middle of nowhere and if they do not ccept card we just drive on to antoher place. We have missed a lot of sights because they do not ccept card payment, their loss I guess.
@@Vantasticvan Do SIM cards work over the Balkan area?, I have read that they have A "Balkan roaming zone" so buying in one country should work in another.
@Vantasticvan I guess my comment was too political. I tried to be careful of my word choices. It was about removing mines and who should be responsible for it. 😉
Thank you for giving your honest experience in your videos and not just sugar-coating everything. ❤

Always nice to see you 2 again 🙂 Safe travel 😘
0:47 Thought you were going to say it would be a mistake to jump the canyon. You'd have to get quite a bit of speed up to fly across that.

"The Bridge on Drina" is a good book, we had to read it in school.
@@Vantasticvan There are lessons for students to learn in such books. We had to read "Hiroshima".
Happy travels. I'll keep watching.

It seems like they throw their trash all over the place. Thanks for a good video.

Do you ever fish in the river?

What are your thoughts on how much cash you take? or do you use the credit card?
