I mean... he sacrifices his life, but then his grandfather's lady is like, "Now now, you silly, go back home, you've still got plenty of good life in you ^_^" And it's not until that point we find out that his grandfather was prepared to wipe him from the memories of everyone who knew him in the event of his death. I wasn't entirely sure how to feel about that. It was anti-climactic, yet at the same time thought-provoking, which is a pretty odd mixture.
TuyuqVampram AFAIK, the original LNs continue with Masahiro staying alive, but losing his supernatural sight. That's a pretty interesting turn of events. Regardless, the anime chose a fitting place to end without making the story feel like it just stops for no apparent reason.

If I find a song or show I like I use Tubemate and MX player so I can watch them anywhere and anytime with out using my internet. Also, if you get them you can turn it on to background, so if you have your phone or what ever device you are using in your pocket or if you are just holding it then it won't change what you are watching/listening to while exercising, cleaning, doing chores, working, driving, etc..

About 10 years ago, this is the anime that the ending made me cry in front of the TV while having brunch with my mom looking at me, worried.
cartoon was a good spin-off from the two onmyoji movies, and it was so nice of them to put the lyrics for the theme song with the catroon.
