Man, this really remind me of mychild hood i really love this anime back in that time one of the best Onmyoji anime i've watch and this is the very first Onmyoji for me too.
I come back looking for this op for nostalgia... This anime was one of those one which... while isn't popular, it was perfect in a sense that it's not too grandiose but I enjoyed it thoroughly. I think what makes the story special is how relationship between touda and masahiro is purely parental... no bl bait no nothing, just a monster guy helping a kid to realize his full potential. The ending was very heartbreaking tho...
this anime is good try to watch it the whole day and I'm quite sure you'll ask for more. It's actually one of historical/youkai anime that I personally recommend together with natsume yuujinchou
