Driving to Manhattan from Boston, MA

Friday, August 21st, 2020 - Leg 2 of the return trip from Acadia, Maine. Spent the night in Boston before driving back to NYC. Left early on a Friday morning and had fairly good traffic since we were heading in the opposite direction of cars commuting into the city. Good weather, uneventful drive.

Thanks for the road trip. I always thought they should have named the New England states something like “Woodsie”, because you see only tree canyons on the turnpikes. It is not until you get close to Southern Connecticut that you begin to see life on the sudes of the highway. When i was small, seeing a Howard Johnsons (HoJo’s), was an exciting attraction, not to mention a necessity.
I give you credit as a driver because you are aware of the state troopers on the prowl.
