Honestly he’s blessed he will be rehabbing in Denver where it’s harder to breathe and the legs get tired quick a lot of people train in Denver
Thomas Welsh will be a solid pro for years....the guy is consistent not flashy not a star but a guy that will be reliable in rebounding and shooting and his defense is improving.
Been a ucla fan he's been consistent since his freshman year. Good pick
So happy for Welsh..he's worked so hard...many thought he wouldn't make it in the NBA...but he's worked hard enough to get drafted.
He's very intelligent, you can tell the difference between a one and done and we'll seasoned 4 year college player . Welsh will be a good team leader.

The Nuggets have such depth it will work out best for MPJ. He'll rehab and recover and they will slowly bring him back. In a meantime if I were him i would get acclimated to the pace of the NBA, traveling, building chemistry with his teammates, and figuring out his role with this team. I'm very happy for Thomas Welsh.

It would truly suck if Porter never truly came back. It hurt me just watching him play in Mizzou, he asked people to lob for him and you could tell halfway up in the air he realized he couldn't get that high and had to lay it up instead. It's so sad. Hope this isn't a derrick rose horror story.

Justin Edwards back injuries are the worse injury in sports. Hopefully sitting out a year will let him get back to normal. He literally got a piece of bone taken out of his spine.

Healing is not an issue for MPJR it's the recurrence of back spasms is the issues. The Denver organization took a huge gamble with this guy. He's an outstanding athlete that had a high ceiling during his highschool career, unfortunately an injury like this caused his draft stock to drop.

Vanderbilt was the guy I hoped my team would pick up in the second round. Him or Melvin Frazier. Unfortunately we got neither. I envision a long and fruitful career if Vanderbilt is properly developed, and he maintains a high work ethic. And staying healthy of course.
