I got my Nintendo Switch OLED June 2022, It is the FIRST Nintendo Switch I ever Owned and I LOVE IT!!!!!!
It has also improved audio! Its actually really good compared to the previous switch. Mutch more louder and clearer sound.

Now that the Nintendo Switch OLED is out, I have a strong feeling that the Nintendo Switch will surpass the Wii(101.63 Million Units) & the Playstation(102.49 Million Unit).
I've been waiting for this unboxing and your opinions on it.

Not worth the upgrade if you play docked majorly of the time IMO (which I don’t, but oh well) this is the equivalent to the “3DS XL” I’ll wait for the
“New Switch Pro 4K” model. Plus Nintendo is selling the new dock separately which is nice, Great video 👍🏻
I’m hesitant to buy the OLED, because I don’t want this to become the new DS with a bajillion revamps and re-releases.
I think that will be the case with at least 1 more 4K revision
@@NintendoCollecting I hope that alongside the new Zelda game they release the final revision of the switch that has the actual hardware increased, and not just a brighter screen or some better joysticks. I want a console that performs better.

Wake me up then there is an OLED Switch Lite. I personally have no use for the screen on the big model. That one sits in the dock.
@NintendoCollecting 5:51 You were saying that Nintendo Consoles run every 5 years. The NES (1985-1990) & Wii (2006-2012) were the only 2 Nintendo Consoles that ran for 6 years & the other Nintendo Consoles ran for 5. Do you think the Switch (2017-2022/2023) would run for 6 years or 5?
I think that Nintendo will have a 4K model that extends the Switch to 7+ years
I bought my Switch in early 2019, the OLED for what you get is not worth the extra money unless you don't have a Switch at all.
This should of been the model with upgraded hardware

I obtained mine on launch day from GameStop but unfortunately they didn't have the white one. I worked sooo hard yet still I couldn't get my hands on the white one 😭. I see it on Amazon for $530 and up. I only have until Friday The 15th to hopefully return it to GameStop and exchange it for a white one. It's not gonna happen 😭. I am tempted to spend $530 to get one off of Amazon.

Switch is awesome but the momentum has gone I'm afraid. There's no way it passed ps4 which is around 130 mil

Don't suppose you have an extra Switch you would be willing to get rid off. I regret my Switch Lite now and makes me wish I waited.
Everything about the switch oled is superior to its older siblings except the same power and that cartridge slot is actually worse IMO. It’s not necessary, but hey, neither is first class seating on a plane lol.
Nintendo console lifespan comparison:
Trash: virtual boy, pokemon mini
Average lifespan: Gamecube, snes, wii u, n64
Pretty good lifespan: 3ds, wii, DS, switch
Immortal: NES

No, I bought the regular Nintendo Switch this year before the OLED came out. The OLED I don't think is available in stores and it maybe being scalped on eBay. Also, the regular Switch that I got has the better battery. I will say, I don't recommend people getting an older Switch from 2017 because of the battery, the regular Switch that came out in 2020 has the better battery.
I bought the regular edition of Metroid Dread because the special edition I don't think you can get anymore. I also didn't get it when it was available because I didn't have the Switch at that time.

That’s because Nintendo provides a list of things they need to hit on. Notice how every unboxing of the Switch Lite talked about how small the box is.
