I love the look of these new deluxe cabinets so much. I'm currently on the fence about purchasing them or just selling all of my current cabinets and being done the 3/4 thing for good. Nothing against them, but I have all of these games on my MAME pedestal setup. Not sure I want to endure the multi-year pain of slowly swapping out all of my current cabinets with deluxe replacements. We'll see...
I have already invested in too many Pacman\Ms. Pacman and Mortal Kombat cabinets, while I love the look just cannot let myself play a episode of peat and repeat again.
I have a couple of rooms I can plonk these new, more authentic looking cabs in, so I'm not worried about them clashing with the existing riser based cabs. Yes, A1up should bloody well have released these from the start. Guess they were too heavily invested in their existing factory jigs to add yet another jig line. maybe they'll slowly phase out the old jig. I'm keeping the original, riser based variants just in case my diabetes catches up with me, and puts me in a wheelchair, though. I'm looking at between 500 and 600 for this release. Thanks for the video.
Having known the convenience, I need to have a riser now. After 30 years of collecting arcade equipment, it's so nice to be able to put one of these in games in a small car, carry them around easily and move them between floors by myself. I agree, these single cabinets with slanted monitors do look better, but I really don't think I'd trade my class of 81 in on this new model. These marginal improvements each few months with the same game titles really feels like a money grab, and I don't think its going to work for most people who've already bought in to A1UP.
Possibly interested in upgrading my Pac-Man to a Delux, or if they made a Tempest in this. Totally depends on the price though. As far as fighters the 17" screen is only big enough for one person. 2 regular size people or bigger standing side by side on a 17" screen does not work.
Why would you think they will be $599? The price on the page you were showing in your video is $499. It says 4 payments of $124.99 which equals $499. Also, if you look at the source code of the web page it shows the $499 price multiple times.
Unqualified Critics, DUDE, I totally forgot! You had mentioned that you would love to see a larger monitor size in an Arcade1up Cocktail cabinet and I may have something you might be interested in. Now it's not a full sized cocktail cabinet, it's a tabletop, but it comes with a 19 inch monitor and is built with AMAZING materials (hefty) and great controls! And the kicker... It comes with 60 GAMES (via a 60 in 1 Jamma board). I got the Ms. Pac-Man variant, but it also comes in Donkey Kong and Pac-Man skins! It's sold on Etsy from a seller called Megacades. It usually runs $599, but I got it during a Christmas sale for $499 and free shipping! I just checked his store now and they're down to $439 with free shipping! Dude, the games list is out of this world! I don't want this comment to get wiped, so I can't provide a direct link, but if you do a search for Megacades on Etsy, it'll come up and he lists the full games list there. I bought a modular table to set mine on and it works great as a cocktail cabinet experience. Plus it's so much better quality than any of Arcade1up's offerings. Just thought I'd pass it along :) vgv
Surely there can't be that many people repurchasing these cabinets. These new designs are great and all, and the longer list of games is great, but I feel most people who purchase an Arcade1Up machine are not in the market to keep upgrading. They can only rehash things so much before people lose interest. I say this as someone who owns about ten of these things.
Unqualified Critics, When I first saw these new Deluxe machines, I immediately thought of you. You had been asking FOREVER, for a slanted control panel. Will it come to pass beyond the renders? I really hope so! Tower of Druaga and Rally X are both on my Ms. Pac-Man partycade :) As for risers, I'm so bummed. I would love to have a riser version of Pac-Man with that Deluxe games list and its slanted screen and slanted control panel. I'm one of the few (I guess) who LOVES risers! I can't tell you what a boon they are as they make everything so much easier to move and situate in my home arcade. As for putting a deluxe design beside a riser machine? For me, it wouldn't look terrible as my goal is to avoid cabinet uniformity when I can. My favorite memories of arcades were when each machine was designed to look different from one another. This is just more variety :) I hope the Pac-Man Deluxe machine reviews well, because if I was to get any of them, it would be that one. vgv
Update as of 2/28/23: Arcade1Up has removed the Ms. Pac-Man Deluxe Legacy Cab from its "Coming Soon" section but the Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga Class Of '81 and Mortal Combat 2 Deluxe Cabs are still up. Reasons I think for the removal? 1) The Ms. Pac-Man Deluxe Cab had the same 14 games and wi-fi leaderboard capabilities as the Ms. Pac-Man Legacy Cabinet; 2) It reportedly weighed less than the Legacy Cab. The Legacy Cab weighs about 80 lbs and the Deluxe weighed about 67 lbs. Then again, all the Deluxe Cabs weigh less than the Legacy Cabs and they look too skinny. Do I think these "Deluxe" cabs will last long? My answer is NO.
They look amazing especially if they really angle the screen this time. But too late for me. I already have the 40th of pacman and Ms pacman and I customized them quite a bit so they would match. Woulda got these if I had known they were going to do this
easy. you can always sell your riser cabs and start collecting deluxe. riserless looks WAY better. i dont think theres big difference 17” and 19” as long as its riseless design so deluxe is way to go.
Why the class of 81 cabinet only have 12 games while all the others have 14? Why can’t they add 2 more for that one to also have 14 games. Any of these would be great! New Rally X, DRAGON BUSTER, Super XEVIOUS, DRAGON SPIRIT, HOPPING MAPPY, GAPLUS, SKYKID
I’m not excited about these unless they get ones with other games on them. I missed Karate Champ with 4 joystick controllers. If they come out with that or new shooting games, I’m interested. Pac-Man over and over again is NOT going to cut it!
This is nothing to rejoice over. they want 999.00 for lengthening the side panels, adding a cpl LEDs to the coin slot and 2 inches to the monitor. No thanks, I'll keep the riser, and save 400-500
A logical step, albeit a fairly boring one. One thing we don't know for sure is if the monitors will be the washed out variety or the BOE. Either way, pricing will be key. $500 is probably way too much for these, yet they're likely to be at least that much, if not more.
There have been already reports that A1Up will indeed use the IPS BOE monitor having learn the hard way about the TN monitor disaster. But I think in the future, A1Up should consider increasing the monitor size to either a 19 or 20 inch monitor. In the future, A1Up really have to learn from their mistakes and not repeat them. They need to improve the joystick and buttons or else, its all for nothing. A1Up cannot afford anymore mistakes but I have a bad feeling that they will indeed make more mistakes. Me? I think the countercades are likely history and the partycades are likely taking a hiatus until more news is made.
Finally, But to late for me unless they finally get it right. I'm not buying mk a third time. New titles are the only thing that might get me to spend more money.
Well a little too late now. I already bought 16 cabs from them jokers and they think I'm just gonna sell my cabs and buy them all again just because they decided to do it right now WITH THE SAME GAMES. I'll stick with what I have. It's a hard pass for me.
I like the design a lot, they should've done this from the beginning. Definitely won't be getting them, I'm also too invested in the riser 'eco system'.
Get your wallet ready for three years of recycled titles. 2023 will be the new 2018… The word of 2023 is $UPGRADE$ I’m getting tired and burned out just thinking about it…
are you not happy that these new cabinet resemble the original full size ones? i Honestly am surprise that finally they have decided to go for the "original" design. All of this new look gives me hope for the future cabinets( i really hope time crisis leak photo was just a test to see if people would like it or not). Too bad they are not sold in Italy. I would buy class 81 for the right price ( under €300)
Online leaderboards or online play don't mean anything to me because Arcade 1Up's WIFI doesn't work. Every Arcade 1Up cabinet that comes out with WIFI is defective. It's actually false advertising is what it is. And everyone knows full well that the 14 games are going to be the same old, tired out, games lists that we've seen on the previous 20 Pac-Man cabinets that they've done. They won't go out and get Jr. Pac-Man, and Puc-One/Mazeman, they laugh all the way to the bank when people give them $500.00 for the same recycled games once again.
I'm tired of all these same titles coming out....how many Pacman's do collectors need? Make ones with special controllers like Crazy Climber with 2 joysticks and every version of the game for all systems, include other games like Robotron. A Paperboy system with handle bars and add motorcycle games would be nice. Or just make a cabinet where you could easily change different controllers for $50 bucks apiece like the Track and Fields just buttons and Tron joystick with spinner. Everyone is running out of room.
Really, really bad... too tall and oddly proportioned. They should have been XL cabs that are both taller AND wider, with 19" screens. As it is, this just eliminates choice and makes for some dumb-looking cabs with no tangible benefits for existing owners. But at least they're giving my credit card a break since nothing at CES is worth buying!
I love the design, but again it's all games that their devoted customers have already shelled out $$$ to own. I'm very frustrated that they don't seem able to offer anything new.
This is why I held off on that MK30 cab last year. This is the one. That MK2 Deluxe looks beautiful. This is the way to go in the future
I love the look of these new deluxe cabinets so much. I'm currently on the fence about purchasing them or just selling all of my current cabinets and being done the 3/4 thing for good. @@scottyjordan3036 Neither. Just someone who enjoys the 3/4 scale arcade machines as a novelty.
😣😣😣 FRUSTRATION “ WHERE IS MY TIME CRISIS 😡”
I Desperately NEED IT NEXT TO MY TERMINATOR!!!!
They should have had these from the beginning
yeah or the second year
how did you get access to the games list and features? nowhere now does it list any of that

Glad that they are finally doing this, hopefully. This is what the consumer wants. They got my money.
The monitor angle is the biggest thing here.......

Any price ?
not yet
Based on the klarna placeholder it could be looking at 500 USD for the deluxe and 600 for the casinocade
@@ConStormENT $500 is the reasonable upper limit on these. $600 for the casino thing though can gtfo lol

BOE's just a panel manufacturer there are other quality panels out there. The key is if its TN or IPS and supposedly no more TN panels

Why Didn’t they do this from the start or when they released Star Wars( The Best Cab Arcade1Up ever released so far).
