Hi there. I just went to charge the spacers to adjust the suspension and noticed mine say High and High+, in the manual it says High and Low. Do you think the 'low' spacers are sold separately?
You do not need to change the disc over, the brake caliper you must get is TRP HYRD Post Mount version. Just switches straight over with the existing caliper.
This is a cable retrofit kit, the brake cylinder is on the caliper end instead of lever end, the cable then actuates the piston like it would on the hand lever.
The inside of the caliper has mineral oil that pushes the pistons. The lever that drives the pistons is activated by a cable. I just fitted one of these callipers to my Dualtron Ultra (front). Awesome stopping power compared to the original brakes. Only had them one day mind, but even still, they piss over brand new stock brakes.
@@woltee8011 How's the caliper holding up? Looking to do this myself but keep reading mixed things! Ive noticed theres a lot of fakes versions of this caliper out there which I think is causing the bad reviews.
@@kainatticus The caliper is very good indeed. I have a Dualtron Ultra now and I put one of these calipers on the front an the back. Decent stopping power and you don't have to keep adjusting them like the old ones.
Hi there, great video, i'd love to know how the caliper is holding up after all this time? Just about to do the switch myself. Cheers

Great video thanks! What's the exact model number of the replacement caliper please? I want to buy one. Thanks
I only know it as the name that I mentioned in the video.
Does the new caliper use the same brake pads as stock?
Nice video. What model do we need? 140mm? 160mm? Is there any difference?

Curios about the clearance to the tires, I have the 10x3 tires which is wider. Will this fit?
Good question
Hydraulic Brake? Why do you still need a cable?

Why do you call it hydraulic caliper?

This is confusing? It’s essentially a cable disk brake
