His light cone is such insane value as well, bc even with the follow-up damage increase aside, the free cdmg and skill/ult dmg increase are such big free stats to have on any Erudition character
It brothers me how good it is. I feel pressured to pull on the weapon banner, even though I know I need to save for Luocha because having Natasha as my only healer is going to screw me over in the long run.
Seeing all the hype around Seele's and now Jing Yuan's light cones is brutal-I want to pull for everything.
@@haku1145 i feel like its even worse because at least seele has good f2p options, like the hunt lightcone from hertas shop. However theres no free erudition lightcones that come even close to jings signature.

I wasted all my lucent afterglow and upgrade mats for the f2p forgotten hall lc. I just pressed single pull twice in the LC banner for the first time and got Before Dawn.

I did not pull before him. I had a very big problem balancing investing single target Dan Heng and AOE serval. After I got him. He dealed more single target damage than buffed dan heng and more AOE and serval while using a completely different team. I also grouped Dan Heng and serval in 1 team too. I suddenly had the answer for everything.
He kinda solved all my problems. Fire MC, Bailu, Tingyun, Jingyuan are literally my line up for the majority of the time. Both Bailu and MC only E when needed, leaving most of the skill points to Tingyun and Jingyuan. The only problem is his stats requirements to really be good. He needs all the good stuff to consistently 10 stacks LL and have the damage. I'm still lacking speed main stat and lightning damage boost.
@@SchifferThe2nd woah wtf that's my main team comp too?? Except sometimes I replace fire mc with yukong since she came out. It just sweeps everything unless Jing Yuan gets CCed
Tingyun can also use the Planetary Rendezvous LC on rate-up in the LC banner to give Jing Yuan free lightning damage, +12% to 24% depending on SI, since she is also lightning.
As far as I'm aware it increases damage to all allies by 24% if one ally has the same DMG type
@@ZeeZeeGaming the wording is bad if you look at the stats when you use it give elemental bonus percentage.
@@ZeeZeeGaming the lightcone has bad translation, it actually give u elemental dmg bonus based of the character element type

I actually got both Jing Yuan and his Light Cone and I really love his playstyle. 10 stack lightning lord is just so satisfying, especially if you can break them.

I kind of got him on accident 20 pulls after seele, I rly wanna go for his cone but I also want Silver Wolf (HB is my second favorite valk duh) and I'm even considering buying the monthly pass for her...man I hope we get more free erudition cones:)

The robot doesn't disappear when jing gets cc. It just stop advancing forward
It actually does, say if it's lightning lord's turn and jing yuan gets cc'd, it just disappears together with all the stacks.

@@sev559 weird it happened once in SU 6 when cocolia freezed jing and it was lightning lord's turn, it resetted back to the bottom with 3 stacks. I'll try to do it again.
@@narukamishogun9016 no, i have jing any CC on him makes his LL not get his turn and would still retain all the stacks he have this is the case no matter what CC, you could also use this to his advantage when he get cc and if your jing is fast enough he will get his turn before LL and you can stack his LL more, but it's very inconsistent.
As a f2p that has ALL Erudition LC besides the paid one. I can proudly say I've completed chapter 9 the light cone quest by his top 4 best f2p LC. Rip wep exp resources TvT

I lost to Welt and got JingYuan in another 30 pulls, and I have Gepard from beginner and Himeko’s light cone from standard on my main account. Then I got JingYuan from my very first wish from the event banner and then got Clara from beginner on my reroll account.
I don’t know which one to use now, I really like Gepard, my favorite from standard.
I was lucky enough to get E1 Jing Yuan in the same 10 pull, thank you for the advice

Please don't that was E6 Himeko with S5 Jing Yuan Lightcone while Jing yuan is E0 and S1 Sign weapon. I'm regret building E0 Himeko with the F2P lightcone for Forgitten Hall as My E4 Hook dealing more DMG with her stacked burn DMG than Himeko

So I just had a thought. With E6, the buff lasts until the end of Lightning Lords turn. Could you take advantage of that by sneaking in an ult as soon as the animation starts? When you do that with a player character, the "turn" gets put on hold until after the ult ends, so would the same work with an ally unit?

I stumbled over "getting all The Hunt blessings" on my latest simulation run n it made Jing Yuan extra stupid-
He just kept chain attacking! e than ult than E again then ult again. He soloed most enemies because no one else got to have a turn with those hunt buffs xDD

i was super lucky today: got 2 himekos, clara and jing yuan with his cone
but obv clara was from beginner banner so it was guaranteed
i wanted to see if jing yuan could carry me with himeko and im glad they can carry me lol
There is strat for auto battle with Jingyuan, bronya, and tingyun. Basically get the relic set that starts you with 1 extra skill point to your healer. Then make jingyuan faster than bronya so if bronya skills jingyuan, Jing can still use skill again. Turn order will be like this: Tingyun>Jingyuan>Bronya>Jingyuan>Healer> Lightling lord 10 stacks. Tingyun and your healer can just recycle skill points since tingyun's buff lasts three turns.
All nice and cool until Tingyun decides to buff Bronya randomly 💀
@@sev559 the first rotation will always be perfect. But yeah tingyun will sometimes buff bronya when the next battle starts.

He kinda solve all the problem i have for my team though, my yanqing is too single target and take stoo many turns to kill enemies (although he deals massive dmg) and serval keeps on dying on my higher su and forgotten halls run while also not doing enough dmg
Jing yuan then proceed to single handedly carry my team 2 so i can put seele and yanqing in one team for 2 burst single target dps
He also can solo gepard and svarog in su so he is a one man army

I got very lucky while pulling him. I prepare for a pity but thank God I got it early so I could pull for his light cone and got it in first 10 pull. Then I pull again in his banner for Tingyun and got both of Tingyun and his first eidolons. I've been stuck dying on world 3 and I finally can clear it!!

Can you explain why I need to achieve SPD134 for Jing Yuan ?
I am new here so I don't understand.
Currently I have only achieved SPD132.
I am really glad I skipped seele and pull jing yuan....Ofcourse damage wise seele in still top but for me jing yuan is more fun and and best aoe damage dealer
I'm sad that can't pull for his light cone bcs I'm f2p and I don't have a Bailu so I'm required to pull for Luocha to do Memory of Chaos
You can use March for MoC. It's a bit tricky though. March + Landau's Choice is enough for boss that deals a lot of Single Target damage, for boss with AoE damage you need a SPD boots for March and waste some skill points. It's definitely harder but still doable.

@@Camellia1990 Anyway, it's a Honkai game so unlike Genshin (so far) it wouldn't be surprising if we could have multiple versions of the same character, including Himeko. After all this is already the case with Silver Wolf which is an alternative version of Bronya.

Both of them are still Bronya but from different ember eras
