@allenumali i think it broke because it's not really meant to be used as a full drumkit, its meant to play effects and loops while djing or creating a short melody.
so pumped! im buying the nanopad2 as a christmas gift for myself and wasn't totally sold on quality because of the price but this suppresses any hesitations i might've had
@decodine should be not to hard to take out the drum triggers, extend the wires and build bigger pads that can be played with normal drum sticks. Then you've a usb drum i/o controller
I would say so. I have a Korg Kronos X and the keys are somewhat more difficult to keep a finger strike from sliding off of compared to the larger width of a pad on this unit. Just my opinion.
It really depends on the keyboard. if you're talking about an expensive, weighted keyboard controller, the dynamics of the velocity is way better and the feel of it is way more tactile. But, against a nano key, I dunno, I heard those things don't have much velocity.. maybe the new ones do.. I'm so outdated with controllers
Hi, I am looking for an economic way to do drum tracks for midi recording...was looking at the nanoPADs and wondered if this would work for me. So far, your demo is the best for showing how this may work for doing drum tracks. Thanks!
how do i set the nanopad up with Reason 4.0's Redrum? I have found this on some review-like website... "Using the Korg Kontrol Editor software, I went back and reprogrammed it so that Pad 1 would trigger Redrum's Channel 1 sample (C2), Pad 2 would trigger Channel 2 (C#2), and so on." I Did that but get no sound from it. its not reason cos my nanokey works with it. If someone could help a brother out id be really appreciative. i have no idea bout this stuff at all!
Hi everyone! Is it possible to run this on FL Studio (Fruity Loops) ? I think FL Studio has a MIDI intarface but I'm not sure if its interface is compatible with the nano Pad ...
@danny020384 Hello everyone! Who can help me? .. I just bought the Korg nanoPAD, a USB controller, but are not able to assign a sound effect, etc. for each button .. how the hell do I do? I downloaded the software which in practice should allow you to use this controller (Korg Kontrol Editor), I tried to answer (but I found only tutorial in English that explain just how to give effect to the sounds, but not assigned to each key) I do not understand nothing... thanks again! Adrian
great vid man!! I speak spanish too, that stupid dude is like a cave man who gets scared because of finding something different good work! =) I hate when I cannot drum rite away and got no time for recording drums nano pad rules
JUST IMAGEN THIS YOUR SITTING WITH YOUR FREND IN HOMEPARTY SOMEBODY CAN RAPP OR SING YOU BRING THE BEAT LIKE IN SECOND AND THEY START WITH COLD FUCKING BEER :)
Nice demo. i should've bought this with my keystation mini. Kids nowadays... it's either they don't know shit or read a lot of shit. And they think they're already that good. Wow.
Cool gadget. But heard lots about its durability issues and decided not to get it. Or maybe it's good for romantic and gentle ballads stuff and not some crazy dark and black death metal shit that make your homely next door neighbor go bonkers?
Ok, you werent excpeting anything, so dont think i wont put a negative comment if the video itself sucks. If you werent excpeting anything you shouldnt justify yourself with shit like "oh i hate hatin' kids bla bla bla bla i have a nanocock bla bla bla". GG

Is this easier or more advantageous than using a keyboard to lay drum tracks.
I would say so. I have a Korg Kronos X and the keys are somewhat more difficult to keep a finger strike from sliding off of compared to the larger width of a pad on this unit. Just my opinion.

@allenumali are they worth buying?

Did you mod your nanopad?
nope, its straight out of the box, the sound depends on which app is supplying it.. in this case, it was reason and reason drum kits

@allenumali сам трек не интересен

He's right. You are inconsistent
dont upload it on youtube excpeting a good comment or a neutral comment... oh well
какая-то лажа, слушать не хочется..
Or you could actually drum =)
is it possible to use nano pad as a electronic drum brain like an alesis midi io?
