I don't eat any sugars anymore or fast food and cut out caffeine. I eat healthy and i am doing exercise every other day and everyday i go for a long walk. My scale is still saying the same weight. I want to give up😢
The PCOS struggle is REAL! Before I got pregnant with my son, I lost about 30lbs. After I had him, I haven’t been able to lose anywhere CLOSE to that! I’ve done EVERYTHING, everything I did before, new things, diet exercise, keto, intermittent fasting, you name it I’ve tried it. I’ve fluctuated between the same 6lbs for the passed several years and I’m so over it. Just feel like throwing my hands up 😭 I can’t lose ANY weight.
PCOS is so tough! I would recommend doing a DUTCH test so you can see exactly what is going on with your hormones, as there are different types of PCOS. Then we can develop a protocol moving forward to balance and regulate. You can find the link in the video description!
Once my doctor told me I had insulin resistance (from PCOS) I changed my diet (metformin also helped) and have dropped like 60lbs since last November I love your videos thank you so much I also ordered your book and looking forward to reading it.
This is tough to say. If you have other symptoms related to pcos (irregular cycles, acne, facial hair etc) along with this, then I would lean more towards yes.
@@DrBethWestie Hm, and I have none of the symptoms of PCOS except for the struggle to lose weight. What’s it like for a woman with PCOS trying to lose weight? What does it look like for her?
I lose weight from 75kg to 61kg because I have PCOS and so I really need to but I started having acid reflux because I eat at 10am then 4pm and not eating by dinner, so I'm trying to find how to eat properly without having any health probs, any suggestion based on your experience? Thanks
I'm pretty sure I have this but my doctor said I don't . Idk . I have all the symptoms expect I have normal periods but they sometimes last 6 days used to just be 4.
It can be really challenging to lose weight with any type of hormonal imbalance. I always recommend the DUTCH test so that you have a comprehensive map of your hormones to know what needs supported and rebalanced.

Focus on the hormone component!

Do you think fluctuating between 180.0 lbs and 189.0 lbs over the course of 3 weeks is a symptom of PCOS?

You can have other hormone issues that cause weight loss resistance. It doesn’t have to be PCOS.

You can try eating more alkaline foods to see if that assists with the reflux!

I have a different video on 4 types of pcos that may be helpful for you!
Same here. It’s sooo frustrating.
I can't lose weight simply as that😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
