Cast Iron!! Switched from the typical pots and pans to cast iron and haven’t been happier. TIP: when thawing bread. Wrap it in a kitchen hand towel while it’s thawing. The edges will be soft.

    2 tablespoons of olive oil.
grate the cucumber and drain it with a little salt over it. toss together the rest of the ingredients. if the cucumber has lost most of its moisture after half an hour. Trow it with the rest. I usually make it a day early. Then it tastes better. enjoy it. Greetings from the Netherlands

When I make tzatziki I use natural Greek or Turkish yogurt that I put in a coffee filter to get as much water out of it as possible. I grate or chop up (in small pieces) cucumber that I’ve taken out the seed part in the middle. I add a little bit of salt, a couple of cloves of pressed garlic, some semi ground black pepper. Stir it well together and let it sit in the fridge for at least an hour before serving. Oh I forgot to say, I shave the cucumbers as well. Unfortunately it is difficult for me to give you exact measurements because I’m from Sweden and we don’t use the same measurements. But I know how much a cup is I think. That said, I think I’d use one big cucumber to 2 - 2 1/2 cups of yogurt, 2 medium sized cloves of garlic and salt and pepper to taste.
    Good luck.

Also, something to note if you can get them at costco, it's better because they sell the commercial ones that are apparently more heavy duty. They truly are amazing, and my kids don't ruin them with metal utensils since you can use that in these pans

Zaziki: half Skyr, half the Joghurt with the Most fat you can find, Salt (more than you think you need, add little by little and if you think „okay, That was too much“ add just a pinch more ), finely chopped onion (just a little bit), roughly shredded cucumber (a lot!) and crushed garlic by taste. Stir well and chill at least some hours. It tastes Even better, if you Salt the cucumbers and press the water out After an hour before adding to the Skyr. Then the zaziki itself needs less Salt of course. I also like to and chopped mint or chives. If the yogurt has less then 10% fat: add Olive oil

Good evening! We don't have a Costco but have a CostULess, which is pretty similar. Yes, eggs are always available here but have gone up in the price about $4.00 more along with our rice. Enjoyed your shopping haul. Thanks for sharing. Hafa adai and love from the island of Guam 🌴❤🌴

Pans - hmmm - if you have a mother in law who lives by cleaning with wire brushes - just go Iron - not teflon (( yup I made that mistake - TWICE )). thats me £150 out of pocket. So I'm Iron all the way now. It can deal with heat - the rough cleaning - just make sure you have a little oil to help the non stick.

Really enjoyed seeing all the things you have that we don't have here in the UK. Glad you didn't hurt yourself on the ice, and that you saved the blueberries

HEXCLAD is the BEST! I love cooking. I have spent way too much on pot and pans set that don't last. YES, they are expensive, BUT, you get your money's worth, a thousand times over. Trust me. I know pots and pans!

Congratulations on the no diet coke for a few days. In 2018 I tapered myself off of it and I'm here to tell you it's doable for sure. After the 1st year I'd think I'd want some only to take a sip of my sons' to think it disgusting now. Lol. Truly almost 5 years and I drink want and love it. Glad you saved the blueberries!!! Too expensive to run over.

I would love to buy those pineapple bacon sausages but I don’t know what to put them with any suggestions. Definitely going to buy the Gyro meat that looks delicious.

@@ThisAlaskaLife I couldn’t find the Gyro meat or the pineapple bacon sausages. , but I did find the chicken apple sausage, and they were delicious. I had them with over medium eggs and a whole English muffin with a salad.

Farberware for the pots and Lodge for some CAST IRON pans heavy but worth it we have so many of them different brands but some are discontinued but Lodge is the one that still around to this day and they LAST come with the first season but you do need to season them after that wash like the non-stick pans. And you don't need to change them after years of use and my entire family has been living here on the cape for 14 yrs and we didn't have to change them after 14 yrs of use. 14 years of living one the cape that's how you can tell you don't need to change them every like 10 yrs or so because they were built to last forever for pans the flat griddle to skillets that were meant to last. and with them being on amazon the pans are like air but the pans are heavy so you will need to wait until Mark comes home from work.
