Here’s my bulk taco 🌮 seasoning recipe! *I use about two tablespoons per pound of ground meat 😉*
- 4 Tbsp chili power
- 3 Tbsp ground cumin
- 2 Tbsp dried onion
- 2 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp salt & pepper

we love some risotto with sun dried tomatos, spinach and feta it has fast become a families favorite for a meat free day or any other day as well.

Sun dried tomatoes, black olives, capers, olive oil all in the food processor. You can use it as a salsa for your pasta. Or whole in a sandwich with prosciutto or real mozzarella.

To answer your question about any recipes for using Sundried tomatoes, how about a pasta recipe?
You could use just about any of your favorite pasta with sauce, add the Sundried tomatoes, spinach, garlic, onion, olives, whatever.

We’ve having food shortages in Michigan as well. Meat is slim pickings as well as a lot of other things.

I love that Everett likes spaghetti squash and he is a “sampies” specialist. I would buy anything he samples. I went grocery shopping yesterday and there were quite a few things I couldn’t get. The meat and chicken counters were completely bare!!!! Prices are higher every week also. The jacket you got is pretty and a good price. Hope you have a good week Lauren.

I had a shark vacuum and I found it was horrible as well! Same issue….it didn’t suck anything up! I had gotten it as a gift and I immediately bought a new vacuum!

Such a fun adventure to Costco today. There is no better feeling when supplies get low, the REPLENISH!!! And a few new things to get motivated. I bet after being Sick, it takes a minute to get the Machine of Life , oiled back up and smoothly running. But looks like you are heading to that sweet spot.
As usual Everett was a sweet treat, He is getting so big. Covid has stripped so many kids of experiences. I love that Everett shops with you. This socialization and sense of community is so good. Everett really has an idea what he likes and also everyone in the Family. He probably is already associating his classmates likes too. It is really expanding his knowledge of relationships. I love to use my Talent of cooking to connect with others. I would love for all your Boys to plan a meal and help cook. I know they already do this, but Something ultra special. I bet Weston could find some great Pickle recipes. Gary's Dad was a cook in the Navy, so he was the prime cook, Gary's Mom was the prep cook, it was fun watching them go at it.
Nice score on the Albanese Gummies. I love them too. I think having a HUGE supply would be awesome. Whoever sent those is a Super Fan. So perfect!!

I live in Maine and I just paid $4.99 (4/22) for a small watermelon, so the 2 small watermelon for $9.99 make them the same. 🍉🍉
When I was growing up in the 70s and 80’s frozen orange juice was all my grandmother used, she set it out for a little while so it would start to melt and would slide out of the canister easily. Yummy! 🍊🍊
Bennett really loved the frozen orange juice! What a fun memory.
The taco seasoning recipe by three rivers homestead is a good one with not to much salt
I like the dill pickle salad myself. Prices are rising at our local grocery but they still have most items in stock. I shop the sales and watch for bargains. We use the sun dried tomatoes on homemade pizzas as a extra topping
I make a sundried tomatoes in cream sauce pasta with chicken. You saute the dried tomatoes in a little olive oil and garlic. Then add chicken broth and add a cup of heavy cream at the end. You cook the chicken in the same pan and set aside then add when the sauce is done then add the cooked pasta.

I am glad Everett got samples. I am going to start writing down the prices and check them against the prices in Ontario, Canada.
It will be interesting to see how they compare. I am going to have to look back on a video from 6 months ago and see how it compares!
Taco seasoning recipe I found online...I make multiple batches at once and store in an airtight jar.
2 TBSP chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp coriander
1 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp oregano
cayenne pepper - to taste (start with 1/4 tsp)
use 1/4 cup per pound of ground meat... add to 1 cup water...stir in with browned meat and simmer 5-10 minutes.
We use it for tacos, fajitas, burritos, etc...any place you would use package taco seasoning. Hope you like it.

I love your shopping trips! Like Everett I try ALL the samples too. Our Costco here is out of several things too. Not enough truckers to go around. My Son-in-law works for Kroger warehouse and they are BEGGING for truck drivers! Not a good time for everyone.

Great video and Costco haul.Even though we live in Pennsylvania , about one hour outside of Philadelphia, our local Walmarts are low in some canned goods and eve boxes of black tea bags. I wonder though here maybe because a lot of people do online ordering the items are already bagged by the store employees for the online customers. Thanks for sharing. Be safe. By the way, i always buy cherry tomatoes. The flavor is so much better then regular store bought tomatoes.
Equal parts sun dried tomatoes, Parmesan cheese (chunk), and black olives. Blend with oil from the tomatoes to make a paste. Spread on white fish or chicken and bake.
I will always associate the "If You Give A..." books with Alaska. I was in first through third grade when we lived there, and we got those books read to us in school at Paul Banks Elementary in Homer. :)
The Shark Pet Plus is the vaccum that I have and I LOVE it! Best vaccum I have ever owned. I had a Dyson and hated it.I don't dread vaccuming anymore. The Shark in your video is the exact vaccum that I have but mine cost a little more than $249.99...best money I have ever spent in my opinion. The Shark vaccum just made life easier.
I bought some of those Contigo kids cups, they are meh. they sweat alot and the drinks don't stay cold.~ Lesson learned.
"The fun colored glasses" I have LOVE THEM!! Bought a set last year, When Sam's gets them again & I hope they do I will be buying another set! I've dropped them and everything else and they are just as nice as the day I bought them. I wanna say I paid $24.99 for them tho at Sam's here where I live.
I have wondered about the Cara Cara oranges, if they are sweet or if they taste like the blood oranges (they put me in the mind that I'm eating a red grapefruit~ not too thrilled with em myself), but I have wondered about the Cara Cara...
With it being just me & my hubby we buy a couple of the premade meals at Sam's a week, for the price I can't go to the store and buy everything to make it any cheaper. Our favorite from Sam's is the chicken wings (you get 20 pre-cooked naked wings with 3 different sauces for about $19, we always buy 2, then I throw em the crock pot with some Sweet Baby Rays Honey BBQ sauce and make either homemade cole slaw or sweet potato fries in the air fryer to go with...
Wow 2 sweatshirts for $19.99...I can see how you bought so many! I would have too...I normally pay eight at $40 a sweatshirt! Got lucky this year though caught them on sale for $29.90 each so I bought 3 (one of each color!)
The jacket you tried on...I will tell you a secret...I bought 2...the light tan one (like you tried on) and the white & sage green one, they are so soft (but I wash them in dreft baby laundry soap~keeps them soft and they don't pill) and they were $14.99 at my Sam's...shhhhh don't tell the hubby...he says I have enough shirts to last 3 women! lol

Almost anything you put chopped tomatoes in you can use the sun dried tomatoes for a more intense tomato flavor...

We love sun dried tomotoes. As a pizza topping, on a charcuterie board with cheeses etc, mixed in with olive oil & parmesan over pasta, blend it sligthly as use instead of basil pesto on crusty bread or pasta. They get addicitive.

Everett is adorable, I love shark vacuums, I’ve owned dysons and sharks, I really love the shark vacs, I got a cordless shark for Christmas, i love it, I only get about 20-25 minutes on a charge, but for me that’s usually enough.

I use sundried tomatoes to my pasta souse. Chicken, Philadelphia cream cheese, a bit of sour cream to make the souse more creamy, mushrooms that I fry a bit with the butter and add the spinach to the whole mixed thing at the end. I use Farfalle pasta with it but you can use any pasta you want.
