Benjamin Poulsen From what I’m hearing you may be popping it to high when you commit. A lot of tricks is a balance between board control and pop. The more of one you have the less you have of another. If it’s going behind you try to have your shoulders leaning back (not back toward your tail but lean backwards a bit) before you even pop. I tend to do this with harder tricks and usually works. Only other thing I can recommend is focus on jumping straight up.
Benjamin Poulsen I just thought of this if you’re landing with only one foot on (which I assume is your front foot) just bend your knee it may sound simple and silly but just do exactly what you have been but focus on bending that back knee.
Just learned the fakie front 360 so much respect for giving the skaters that are stuck ideas that trick actully made me so much more motivated to skate I also just landed full cab and that made me commit to bs 360 thank you so much man
sean thank you bro you Inspired me to start trying more ollies but i dont pop as much, but im just happy that my foot is now slideing and not just staying in place
bamboo:)) i even know some of the tricks in this vid but the way you've described it will help me with my consistency. Being able to describe tricks is so hard, you've done a really good job with it. Thanks bro
I have all the basics , tre , heel , kickflip, and other tricks , now for the intermediate ones , I’ll put the date I did them as I progress : Full cab 7/13/20 , Halfcab flip 7/15/ 20 Fakie Bigflip 7/16/20
Couple 360 shuv related things: I think it's actually better to learn them popped first, regardless of stance. Reason being, you have way more time to watch the board rotate and catch it when it's popped, second, it makes it really hard to learn a regular 360 pop shuv if you learn it that way first imho. Also, I think it's funny as a bit of an older guy how scary 3 shuvs and varial flips are to the current generation of skaters. Every time I do a 3 shuv at the park people are like surprised I can do them, but in the early 2000s, we considered them to be a beginner trick, and thought 360 flips were impossible. It's funny how much times have changed in 20 years.
id still be classified as a beginner, but it was an interesting video to watch nonetheless, will definitely try these when im ready :) favorite tricks are frontside flips (but only over gaps or stairs) and kickflip back tail, i just think they both look really cool.
I have problems with trying new tricks on rails.Like big problems and i find it really hard. If you want you could do a video about rails and basic tricks on them, as well as trick tips!👍🏻
I literally colud not even form this trick at all and I have consistent fackie flips and half cabs but after watching this video I nailed it in 3 tries let's gooooo
Nice ! That’s me who asked for it thank you for doing it 💪 The Fakie Bigflip sounds interesting, since I can Pop My Fakie Bigspins i think it will not be that hard Bambou 😉
The “caballerial” also known as a full cab was invented by Steve Caballero and it’s specifically a fakie BS 360. So the nickname “cab” is specifically for the backside motion. The frontside motion would just stay as a Fakie FS 360 as it does not have a nickname

Favorite trick is hardlfips. I remember the first time I saw them, I was so confused I had no idea what it was for the longest time.
Have you tips for someone who can land it with one foot but when tries to commit it pops to high and ca ‘t stay above the board ?

I've been skateboarding for a quite a few years but I adapt a lot slower than most people
Hey I started off slow too. It’ll come as you learn more tricks 💪🏽

Thank bro this helped me a lot especially with the full cab Because I saw so many tutorials but your full cab tutorial helped me more than the others
Happy it helped!

How is it going now ?
I wouldn’t count tre as a basic that’s not and easy trick
Bamboo✊🏼

Wait wouldn’t if u pivoted on the front truck for the fakie 360 that would just make it a fakie fs full cab correct me if I’m wrong
