Ed is a master at his craft. I have one of his knives and I was also lucky to be able to get one of his son's knives Newt who sadly passed away. Newt was also a master of his craft.
Bought one of the early Randall model #14 when he was offering a special price to the military.Soon after I went with my unit to vietnam, the knife got a lot of use in the jungle and held up well, but it was mild steel and was difficult to keep from rusting.I passed it on to a replacement when I left, often wondered where that knife ended up.
