My Buff Orpington hen loves to be held but if I don't pick her up the way she likes she'll jump off my lap and insist I pick her up again, the correct way. They are very particular!
I read someplace its not a good idea to kiss on your chickens. Im 64 and so far kissing them I am still alive. LOL its hard not to. Butt its probably a good idea not to. because they can pass diseases like salmonella to humans through direct contact
