Yes. It is okay to raise them for the wool. But, I cannot stand the thought of slaughtering a lamb for "leg of lamb". I keep thinking that Jesus is the Holy Lamb of God, and that would appall me.

There's a general misconception that sheep are "stupid" which is absolute nonsense. Like all animals, sheep are extremely intelligent. Humans forcing them into farming situations makes them constantly fearful & just as you said, their real personalities have no chance to shine through. I'm so grateful someone like yourself is making a commitment to rescue these sweet babies & allowing them to be themselves & feel safe. Proud to be vegan! Ka pai!
Yes! As you said, humans vastly underrate the intelligence of not only sheep but all other animals. It's to demonize them as inferior to humans just so they can exploit and harm them for selfish reasons of pleasure or financial gain. I'm in awe of the intelligence of animals!

Great video and great lamb whisperer. To see their faces, and how they imprint on each other and their rescue human, is such a breath of life. No matter how dark my mood, seeing folks all over the world rescuing animals and giving them forever homes raises my mood to euphoria. Some years after my divorce, when my ex wife realized I did not want to remarry, lest I spoil all the good memories we still remember with each other and our daughter, she suggested I take in a rescue pet so I took in my cat Rosie, now six years into her rescue of me.
Rosie imprinted on me as a kitten, and still thinks of me as Mom (though I am a dude) and still nurses on my shirt when she naps or cuddles with me. During thunderstorms, or just when she wants a human, she sleeps with my face as her pill--wow. She is a bundle of love, as these lambs are, and I believe heaven is impossible without pets sensing our time has come and assisting us into whatever awaits us dudes and ladies who cannot but help ooze compassion and awws when we see a Geobeats video, arguably the best channel on youtube.
Such a beautiful and peaceful place. Beans is living the life I can only dream of.

What an amazing and uplifting story! I also had a random event (it was a guest on a radio talk show back in 1991) that changed my family's life completely! I began a heartwarming home business that I loved so much until my health changed and I had to leave after twenty years. But it still sustains us and who would have known that a radio show could do that!!? And here you are out of the corporate life and your new workspace is rolling hills covered in lambs that are now safe because of you and Beans! (Thanks for explaining his name. I wasn't familiar with Saint Beans!)
This makes me so happy! I have always loved sheep and thought they were beautiful. Recently I had a chance to sketch a flock. I saw them play with each other and follow the farm hand around for attention...just like dogs! They all deserve a chance. Thank you for all you do for St. Beans and the other lambs 🙏❤️🐑

I’m glad Beans found you! I know the happiness they bring when you raise them! I raised a five pound baby lamb who’s mother died. I have always loved animals but he was special. I will remember him and the love he had for me and me for him for the rest of my life! He still loved for me to hold him at 65 lbs. His favorite treat was popcorn! Glad I saw your story! OMG this is so amazing! Wish everyone would see - and know - that sheep are no different than other sentient beings! This man is amazing! The opportunity came and he jumped at it. As he said sheep when free of fear are totally different than the animals we normally see...and that goes for all factory farmed animals. Thank you so much for caring!
