WOW! Amazing job! I am planning to make a buggy with 4 L motors and one servo. One motor will be in each wheel and I plan on putting the shocks that you have in the front on all the wheels. Any way nice buggy!
Thanks for your comment! Yes the motors are original Lego motors discontinued about 10 years ago. Its the batteries that make this model fast. Go Energizer!
@Andrew Honestly I have no idea, The speed comes from using the best AA batteries in the world. :) But the steering and front suspension could be used in a set up that uses The lipo and buggy motors, just would involve some good modding@! Good luck, (I couldn't reply to you directly.)
Hi Doc, Great model. I have just made it following your instructions... but found it didn't want to steer very well. Was happy to turn left, but not right. When building it I felt the steering action was a weak link possibly. I noted elsewhere someone mentioned they had improved on the steering but I dont think they shared exactly what they did. I've just pulled the front of the model off the receiver and will have a go at trying to come up with something. Clearly it works fine on yours as per your vid..I followed the instructions exactly so not quite sure whats up. :-)
yeah I remember that person, but they never shared anything. If you have having trouble steering one way, could be that your actual servo is failing. Bear in mind these units are pushing 15 years old!
***** just awesome work :O! I really like to build your MOC but is there a Chance to give out a Part-list? Or saying From which lego-packs u built this?
Fantastic machine and ultrafast. I'm going to build it, but I have a critical doubt. The Rc controls used are extremely difficult to find. I have ordered the 2 motors. But I'm confused about the RC controls. Are there two different controls : two ? Both of them are strictly necessary. There are two big motors and two rc controls?Which is the control used by the driver and which is placed on the buggy. What options exist to use another similar rc but that works perfectly
I have no idea about other controllers. Its not too difficult to understand. The transmitter is what you hold, and the receiver is built into the buggy. Hope that helps. :)
Do you think four buggy motors on the fast output would be strong enough to drive this beast through grass? Are four on the fast output stronger than two on the slow? Thank you very much!
Guys u think I need to buy those MOC instructions to build this off-road car? Because we need to buy even the instructions inorder to build like those car. What do you think?
where did you get that engine from? and what does it use for steering? don't want to build exactly this buggy, but i've been wanting to build a lego car for a long time :D
+Kristoffer Ek Thanks for your question. Mine still work perfectly fine. :) You only really burn out a motor by adding too much voltage or not enough and have it stall.
rebrickable.com/mocs/docbrown/deadly-nightshade-off-road-buggy This site lists some options for places to buy lego parts, otherwise keep an eye out on Ebay. :D
***** I bet it would, I'm newish to the RC game (not including the cheap toys) and, the stampede was the only thing I knew anything about, thanks to a friend that owns one.
i know you want me to buy the instructions, but unfortunately i don't have the money ;_; . so i just wanted to know what output it drives from. i see that the buggy motors are facing the wrong way for the back output to be forward on the remote, but you have axels in both outpts at 0:20. i am doing my best to build it from the video and pictures :p
well if you promise to like all my videos and share them on fb or whatever I'll tell you there is no gearing on the rear, the outside output goes straight through to the wheel. :P Merry Xmas!
MAN THATS THE VERY BEST WORKING LEGO TECHNIB BUGGY I EVER SEEN WOW !!
That is one fast buggy and it looks Badass too! I love suspension and the wide stance it gives it looks mean as hell!
Awsome model and music! I realy like when the car is drifting.
That's the best buggy I've ever seen!
...such a simple setup but it feelslike it can conquer any terrain...:D
I have watched quite a few lego technic videos. And this is by far the best buggy i have seen in terms of performance, Good job!
Thank you very much!
VeRy NiCeLy DeSiGnEd BuGgY!
More pls :)
Awesome job! Love that suspension :D
Thanks! :D

This is really FANTASTIC!
Lego really needs to make a new & more powerful RC motor for us hobbyists.
Charles Z I agree I just fitted it to the new Lego technic rally car and it didn’t work so well
Agreed
Yeah they do
pretty simple design but still great :)
Song from car mechanic simulator 2014 XD awesome game and even better buggy
GREAT MODEL! Love the music choice XD
which is really fast, very well done
Very nicely done.
one question!
HOW DID YOU MAKE THIS THAT COOL?
thats what I call extreme power!
Absolutely stunning handling, it's hard to believe this is "just" a LEGO model... What about the motors? I expect these aren't original LEGO parts...
Thanks for your comment! Yes the motors are original Lego motors discontinued about 10 years ago. Its the batteries that make this model fast. Go Energizer!
Dam that buggy works great. Very impressed. :)
BEST lego buggy EVER!

***** Thank you very much! No I wasn't, haha. I just built the long travel front suspension and went from there. Cheers.

Hey sorry for another question but is this the fastest Lego car you have made? I am also making a Lego car myself using 2 rc motors.
Sorry for late reply, yes it is, but I might try a graphene powered one very soon. :P
I will build one like it tonight
Fantastic machine and ultrafast. I'm going to build it, but I have a critical doubt.

nice car p.s what is name of this song?
Have you the instructions? Very nice car!!!!
+William Karlsson Yes, Instructions are linked above......
Did you use any gears to make it faster or was it an axle straight from the motor?
Thanks for you question, no gearing was used just really good batteries, and STILL have a bit of charge left in them. :D
Thanks for the reply. :D
Nice
Wonder how it whould handle a 6 cell lipo battery for RC cars?
Do you think four buggy motors on the fast output would be strong enough to drive this beast through grass? Are four on the fast output stronger than two on the slow?
Thank you very much!
