The map showed two: Cooper in Nebraska just south of Omaha, and Calaway, near Fulton, Mo. Both report concerns over dropping river levels affected operation..It has been a long time, but that doesn't look like Calaway County to me. However, I knew a lot of folks from Herman and Washington and the Little Rhine Country. You look and sound to me to be from that neck of the woods. I could be wrong. In the late fifties, my family took several trips to Excelsior Springs, crossing the river on three occasions. lived in its flood plain in West St. Louis Co. Living or visiting Columbia from the summer of 1969 until I moved to Hawaii December, 1976, I crossed those bridges several times a month along the length of I-70 in In the mid-seventies I was demographic researcher for the Dept. of Rural Sociology I worked on watersheds projects for the Mo. State Dept. of Natural Resources and the Army Corps of Engineers, on the Social Impact section of the Arkansas River Navigation Project EIS. I have live on the coast of California a half hour north of the Golden Gate Bridge since 1980, but still keep track of Missouri through online St Louis Post-Dispatch. Been rather distracted lately. Ironically, we have suffered deluge and mini tsunamis since Thanksgiving I only now realize you have had equally severe drought. Thanks for a fine video. Just wanna know where you shot the footage.
