Pinhead is basically an annoyance. One thing I find annoying is where the chains can interrupt you opening the box. A tip I found that may or may not work is. When your opening the box near a ledge sometimes he will tp to the bottom lv.
holding the box you will get assaulted by 3 chains in a row, pause, repeat.
if you start solving the box during the pause, no chains get spawned

Its annoying as hell but you can also dodge the chains if you make them hit something before you
Pinhead himself isnt necessarily strong, but his passive (chain hunt) extremely punishes uncoordinated teams.
edit: I noticed this afterwards, but they kept trying to instantly remove the chains. Even while chained you can still drop pallets but starting the actions of removing the chains removes the option.
They also didn't realize that breaking a chain with the environment spawns another one, and he was using the addon to make it spawn 2 more instead. Plus they didn't realize that him teleporting makes the box go away and stops the chain hunt. Basically they knew absolutely nothing about the power, which makes it stronger.
to address Stan's belief about the anti-camp bar increasing odds, it doesnt, the only time the bar actually affects your odds is when it fills completely which gives you a 100% chance to escape, the chance to escape on 1st stage is always 4% without specific perks such as Deliverance (Adam Francis perk) which will give you 100% chance if youve safe rescued someone from the hook though it only works on stage 1 so its useless if obtained after you were hooked
If stan is the killer even the trapper would look strong, I know Kaif and the others found looping annoying but most killers and gameplay revolve around it

Pinhead is a pub stomper. He's awful in high tier gameplay, but everywhere else he's a menace, lol.
Fun to play, awful to vs.
I can attest to this, as I used to main Pinhead. Inside of 2 minutes, I had all four players on their 2nd hook, and I felt bad for em.

Yeah, Pinhead's a bit of a noob killer. If you let the box fill up, everyone gets chained. If he chooses to teleport to you while you solve, it resets that timer fully as if you solved it anyway. The worst is if he finds the box, but I think stan was using an addon that makes that a bit less painful anyway. As you saw in this video itself, it's best to do it when he's occupied (immediately after hitting someone, or picking up / hooking). I won't go any further beyond this as I know you guys don't like to know everything.
It would have been alot funnier if ben actually did get away with the box but stan being a big meany stole it back 😂
Pinhead is a decent killer, raw power wise. But he's renowned as a noob crusher, because his mechanics revolve entirely around punishing mistakes and interrupting survivor actions. He's widely regarded as one of, if not the, most annoying killer in the game to face and is so also widely hated by most survivors.
Even so, in terms of raw power, there is worse. Spirit- for example- is considered S tier, along with Blight and Nurse, since those three killers all have an extreme degree of controlled mobility that lets them end chases in a matter of seconds unless the survivor is playing extremely good; a fact that does not change at any point through a game (unlike other mobile killers, whose power has a cooldown, a cost, or other form of significant downtime).
Nurse, especially, is considered the best of all- even after her nerfs- since she functionally ignores pallets and windows. Playing against nurse is a completely different game- even blight and spirit must play around pallets and windows and participate in looping. Nurse, however, is a battle of pure mindgames and spinning and nothing else.
I still can't believe how unlucky kaif was in that first game.

As a 3.5k hour player, Pinhead is my least favorite killer to go against. He's up there with all of the killers that make you slow down, which means Clown, Wesker (Mastermind) players that really lean into the infection and slowdown mechanics, Freddy, and of course Pinhead. Pinhead just requires so much information and coordination, it just never happens in soloQ. It ends up just being annoying.
I've recently got back into DBD after a year or two away... I'm finding that a lot of the licensed killers are either terribly overtuned or incredibly annoying

Not gonna lie, but I kinda get triggered that Kaif ran Plaything without Pentimento. He could just go full Pentimento build and Badham had plenty of sick totem spot too so he can nyoom all around the map with that Iridescent add-on. But oh well...

Honestly, i hated Ark and my wife said it was like ark but different. So I went into palword with the expectation of hating it and returning it to get my money back. So far i have played like 50 hours. I'm glad that I was wrong with this game. Hopefully ninetendo doesn't kill the game.

To be fair, all killers right now are silly strong because the game is balanced so ridiculously hard in their favor. Pinhead isn't super high tier though, his power is hard to use effectively without time spent practicing it.
Huh, I always figured it was balanced hard in the survivor’s favor. It’s so easy to feel powerless against even a halfway decent team of survivors.
@@raptorofwar4415 For the survivors to get even a single person out requires a great deal more coordination, knowledge, and luck than it does for a Killer to get a 4k. Survivors need to know how to effectively run tiles(loops), use pallets, and trade hooks. It requires a decent amount of time played to learn and keep up on those things which isn't really true for Killers who have more tools and don't typically get punished as hard for mistakes. True that a good team of survivors can make a killers life miserable but the vast majority of the game's survivor pop aren't in that category, most survivors especially those on console play immersed and timid which isn't conducive to actually surviving.

You were overreacting a bit, it's not over powered, it's annoying if no one knows what to do but it's simple, all you have to do is have one person HOLD or SOLVE the box holding the box they can keep the chain hunt away from others, the person with the cube has the objective of to HOLD the cube and keep it away from the killer until the can SOLVE it when the killer is in chasing/carrying another survivor
YOU DON'T HAVE TO GRAB IT 24/7 it's actually better to not go near it until the chain hunt is near, you can see how near it happens by the blue circles, if the box is SOLVED you get to basically remove pin head's only slowdown,
if you have the box do not go down to the killer or it would be as if the killer grabbed the box, starting an instant chain hunt(also ben didn't leave with the box, Stan took it when he downed ben)
