I hope JD feels better soon. I don't know how hot it is where you guys are, it's in the high 90's with a feel like of 100. This kind of weather makes me feel sick with my heart failure. It also makes it hard to breathe. I hope JD stays in the AC more.

I have found keeping the dry dogfood in the original bag it comes in keeps it a lot fresher and doesn't dry out. I close it up with 3 clothespins on top to keep it sealed. I store a week's worth of dry dogfood in an ice cream bucket with a lid and use a cup to access easy daily feedings. The rest of the food I keep in the original bag where it stays fresher. Your puppy is lucky to have you and your family!! ❤️🐶

Praying for you JD and Michelle. I don't know if this helps, I have found that I have to be careful not to get dehydrated as it brings on the symptoms and makes things worse. Gatorade Free is my best friend, I also cut up my favorite fruit in a water bottle and fill it with my filtered water and refill it until I reach a gallon.

It's strange how the world operates all in April and May i was watching the Heart Failure vlogs and then on 06th June i was admitted to hospital with ademia swelling from chin to toe tips and then diagnosed with heart failure, heart operating at 20%, AF and enlarged heart! I'm a 45 year old mum!
Please call for new Cardiologist appointment, they can take a bit to get in. I have CHF for last 12 years and missing a dose of my meds makes me feel off. Rest up and take it easy. This heat isn’t helping either
Weather hot and humid, keep house cool with central air stay inside and rest. Hot and humid is the worst for heart failure! Central air is best it removes the humidity.
Do you keep a check on the air quality in your area? I'm sure that could have a lot to do with how JD feels. It would be wise for him to stay inside in the air conditioning when it's really bad.❤
Regarding the dog food. Just keep an eye out - her poop can get runny and change during the whole transition of her changing it over. Once she’s fully switched it’ll be better! We just went through this with our younger doxie because she wasn’t gaining weight (like she was 3.5lbs at birth and up until her 2nd birthday she was only at 6.5lbs). She’s finally up to 8! Hope the transition goes well for y’all!
M y husband had HF for seven years before he crashed and had serious cardiac shock… which nearly killed him. He has an external artificial heart (LVAD) now and is on the heart transplant list. LMK if you have questions as it can be really scary and confusing. Anytime!
For your dog food container. You should get one that stands up and you should leave your food in the bag. That way the chemicals in the plastic don’t get absorbed in the food.

Covid is airborne, going on a flight without N95's means your risk for getting covid again is extremely high. Hope he can see the doc before you leave for Hawaii.
Don't wait on Dr's, get 2nd opinion. I took My son in er thanks giving. Blood pressure 250 an above. Dr gave med to bring down then sent him home. Christmas day took him back again. His numbers weren't as high but this dr payed more attention and look at me shock my hand and said I will take care of your son and admitted him. They took him up stairs and a couple hours later was in surgery. Took future Blood work. Something in his blood work sent him into emergency surgery. Surgeon said if they hadn't had cancelation in surgery he would have been dead. He was in pain an having a heart attack. As he was the first time but Dr missed it. He called him a Christmas miracle. The second Dr's name was Moses. It gave me goose bumps. So please get 2nd opinion and don't wait for Dr's to pay better attention. Good luck, prayers

he needs to sleep or rest .. is he on beta blockers? stage b is pre heart failure. drink plenty of water and listen to your body .. the heavy breathing is normal so dont panic

I've been in near-complete isolation (including digital, as no one talks to me anymore) for 2.5 years because I understand the potential consequences of getting Covid.
