Just and FYI for everybody, this is why slowly stock piling is essential. Always try to buy an extra few things every grocery shop, even if it's only 1 or 2 cans of veggies, or a marked down package of meat. Anyone can be stocked piled for months, it just takes time.
Exactly, so people like this board don't wipe out the shelves like everyone else is doing, thanks from those of us who would like to do a normal shopping trip!
You are so right. I have a large family and when news of this mess started I did my normal weekly shop plus a few extra snacks (muffin mixes, snack cakes, etc) and went home. I have spent the last few years getting a little extra every time I went shopping so I have a full pantry and I didnt have to worry about trying to find basic essentials while possibly exposing myself and/or my children to a virus.
We are getting contradictory advice. They say not to stock up because the grocery stores will have food but then they say STAY HOME. If we are expected to stay home for a few weeks (which is a good idea) then obviously you need to buy supplies for a few weeks. I keep well stocked at all times which is a good thing to do when you have a family. You never know what's going to happen. I don't think she bought too much, however, you can boil and cool water for baby formula. No need to buy water for that.
We are told to stay home from doing unnecessary things , keep a safe distance from people wash hands protect yourself and others as best you can, grocery stores will remain open as will pharmacy's and we can go to dr appointments for now. So you should only be doing your normal shopping so there is plenty for all
@@sharonlloyd5954 I'm a butcher at a grocery store I would not step foot in a grocery store if I could avoid it buying supplies ahead of time it's the best solution I will not buy anything off the floor people are hacking and coughing all over the stores
I stocked up on flour, yeast, for making bread, corn meal, oil, rice, beans, canned tomato paste, canned fruit, powered milk, apples, lemons, as a source of vitamin c, ( you can cut up your apples, squeeze lemon juice on them and freeze your fruit, bananas, ) I bought a water filter so I wouldn't have to go back out and buy water. Peanut butter, potatoes, onions, carrots, cabbage. These items along with pasta, is very inexpensive and will make homemade breads, meals, soups, breakfasts, dinners, lunches, I also bought oatmeal and cream of wheat, hamburger, and chicken quarters, I think the idea of stocking up with basics is so we don't have to run to the store for bread, or milk, or anything, we all need to stay at home.
I noticed when I went to the store that no one was getting any dog or cat products. My store was almost fully stocked with cat and dog stuff. I hope people remember their pets.
Ms. Jennifer's Life I picked up food (4 fourteen pound bags of dry food) for my dog 30 minutes after the President's first speech and I saw that Italy had closed their country. I figured closing USA could possibly happen also.
It’s nice that some people can post and brag about their haul, while many of us are left with nothing to buy because these hoarders didn’t leave anything for the rest of us
things were still operating normally, so I only shopped for what I needed during my day off last week. I was working when the panic started, so I had no choice but to wait for my next day off to go shopping, but by the time I got to the stores, the shelves are already empty
I have a family of 6 and I started preparing when I heard about the virus in China. My SO thought it wasn’t a big deal and we shouldn’t worry🙄🙄. I sent him out to get a few things last Friday and he said the shelves were empty. He was able to get a good amount of things. Family helped with other things since they stockpile throughout the year. There’s nothing wrong with being prepared. Hoarding is the problem. I would not call this haul hoarding. The grocery stores would not be empty if people took the virus seriously in the beginning rather than waiting until the last minute to all bombard the stores.
I wholeheartedly agree with what you said and love your thinking!!! I couldn't relate to this more! We are a family of 7 and stocking up slowly each visit helps out tremendously ❤️
Unbelievable! First thing you say is "everything is gone" .....gee I wonder why? Have you not seen & heard what they keep repeating over & over on the news? I just can't understand why people do this because whether it's a 10 day quarantine or 100 day quarantine we will always be allowed to go to the grocery store for food! That's why all the supermarkets are empty because of this & everyone "PANIC BUYING". Really really wish people would STOP this ridiculous panic buying. So frustrating! Honestly!
I don’t see why everyone is saying she overshopped? She buys a lot of stuff once a month or 2 months, can’t remember so this is no different. She didn’t stockpile really if you ask me. I’m in a state where things are slowly shutting down completely and I don’t have kids I have enough for a month because the reality is that we don’t know how long these shutdowns and quarantines will last. She is PREPARED. She has children. I started preparing when I saw China was shutting down. You either prepare yourself now or prepare to possibly perish. This is what she would need if she can’t get out of the house for an extended period of time and I suggest you do the same. You don’t have to clear the shelves, just make sure you’re prepared.
Wow what is with all the rude comments ? She mentioned that the atmosphere at the store leads people into a panic state making them feel like they want to buy more and tries to soothe peoples anxieties. She literally always shops like this it’s her once a month grocery hall and that’s how she’s used to shopping. She also said she went to several stores so she searched for this stuff for her family. I get it’s unfortunate if you can’t afford it or don’t have a car or access but let’s not start.taking it out on other people that’s just as bad as those that are actually hoarding products and trying to sell sanitizer for 20times the cost on market place. Everyone needs to calm down and help those they can and be supportive towards eachother and try and put yourselves in the others shoes
Kelsey you are so right. This is how she usually shops. People are just triggered because of what's happening and the unknown. Plus feeding her immediate family I'm sure she will have for extended family and friends or anyone in need.
@@heyikindalikeyou that's so frustrating. I'm so sorry. We haven't been able to buy any dried foods or canned food all week. Our shelves have been bare since last weekend.
@@kf8852 I'm so sorry. That's so frustrating. I'm working with moms in my area to help each other get what we NEED, maybe there's something like that in your area? Check your local Facebook group. I think we just need to band together and help each other!
ADRIVONE yes I heard.... & yes taking care of your family is “being smart”. However, experts have indicated that we need to be mindful....believe it or not...there might have been another mom/dad that shopped that day that couldn’t get anything.... and everyone being mindful might have helped her too... she could only find limited items
Imar5d She is doing what is best for her and her family. It was not a one stop for her to buy all her needs. She is going to use it all and it is her money. No judgement. If you don’t agree why would you watch it. Take care and be safe !
Imar5d all of this was purchased before most quantities were limited, except water and cleaning stuff, but now heb has limited almost everything you buy to 1 or 2 items!
There is no reason to buy this much food right now. The stores are fine, as long as we do not buy like this. It is ridiculous. Grocery stores will not shut down. Even in Italy, they keep groceries and pharmacies open. You are fine
TheOutsidersPost she probably doesn’t want to have to go out, that the whole idea of self quarantining/shelter in place...only going out if absolutely NECESSARY. If she doesn’t have to take extra trips to the grocery store that’s a plus. Not to mention growing kids can eat a hell of a lot of food when they’re home from school for a couple weeks. Personally we’re stuck at home for 6, one down, 5 more to go and I’m glad I bought extra stuff because I don’t want to have to go to the grocery stores if I don’t have to...it’s one thing to just buy completely random stuff in a panic, but buying things your family WILL eat is another. Also, there’s always the possibility of a friend or family member falling ill and needing something. A porch drop off would be able to happen without contact or anyone needing to go shopping for stuff.
Still better than risking exposure going to the grocery stores as often as you normally would... if stores will stay open then should be no problem for those who don’t want to or can’t stock up.
Listen this is not an enormous amount of food for one, for another thing why should be put the well being of our families in your hands based on your opinions. This is an average monthly supply of food for a family with children AND the biggest point of stocking up is for people to self quarantine and stay out of public, not run to the store every time you need something. SO this lady has it right and I wish people would stop telling other what the hell is right for them. It is not like she is loading up a tractor trailer.
You do know there is a difference between prepping and hoarding.... People who buy all that in one transaction during a time of panic. Are the problem. My wife managed a grocery store for years and I found out that this type of buying is being done by thousands of people. There in lies your problem. You should of been prepared and not have waited until the last moment. I have been prepping for years and people thought I was crazy for keeping as much food around. But now it’s not so crazy is it? When I made that comment things were pretty bad and now guess what the grocery stores have been fine ever since. Sure there are some items that are hit or miss. But the grocery stores survived and did just fine no need to over by only get what you absolutely need. When you take more than what is necessary you are hurting others that cannot afford to buy in bulk like you did.
What is baby water? Im in australia and I’ve never heard of that. Good job stocking up for your family, ignore all the hate comments, i got them on my grocery haul too for buying too much pasta, my partners italian and thats a normal amount for us hahah but people will always hate on something! 💗
I get what everyone is saying about this being ridiculous blah blah blah BUT my dad lives in California and in his area the stores are wiped out! It’s scary when people go stock up and there is a fear of there being nothing left. I think she was smart to not risk it. As far as people acting like this is an enormous amount of money to spend... I spend 1200 a month between pet supplies/ household supplies/ and food even when there isn’t a pandemic bc I have 6 in my family including 3 teenagers. That’s just what it takes for our household. Melissa always gives to causes at school, donates to food banks, to the needy and she helps her family out. If you don’t like the video turn it off
The thing is if disgusting selfish people didn’t go into the stores and buy all the supplies that other people need as well we wouldn’t even have to worry. About risking it.
dede king most of the country is being selfish and stocking up... should we wait and be kind until we have nothing for our family’s? I’m asking my elderly neighbors if they need anything and I am willing to share and I didn’t go crazy but I did stock up bc I have a lot of mouths to feed!( people and pets)
@@amberv1198 if you don't like what people are saying stop reading everybody's comments. Everyone has the right to their opinion this is America we're free to voice out opinions. People like her are the reason why stores are empty. Just cause your saying you are helping the elderly doesn't mean its true you could just be talking but I hope you aren't.
Amber Thank You for saying that. I said the same on another comment (I scroll to the bottom and read up) If people really watch her channels they will know that this isn't out of the ordinary shopping for her. Plus she is not above helping out her family, friends, neighbors or strangers.
Amber Vanderveer people like her are why people can’t buy anything. I’m a nurse when I come home from my shift and buy groceries the whole store is empty
I wish people knew how frustrating and hard it is to have a kid with food allergies. We cant just buy whatever is left on the shelves. Please stop panic buying. Our supply chain isnt going anywhere. The stores are running out because people are hoarding. Its actually ridiculous.
You do realize that do United States has a mass importer of foods I work at a grocery store cutting meat we are now limited to how much products we can order including Grocery and Frozen let alone I stuffed up ahead of time so I didn't have to buy stuff that has been coughed on by people who are infected
I think this is a pretty selfish move to be honest. You have a responsibility as a UA-camr with a decent following to not perpetuate fear, monkey see monkey do- is a roll on effect of being terrified from unreliable sources and media that is breed on fear, by posting this you have continued to cycle and now 5 or more others will continue to do the same stupid thing when there really is no need. I understand you have 4 children one who is very young however, there is no need to clear the grocery shelves of food so that people who do not have enough money or are aged/disabled are unable to buy their fill. Multiple governments including the American gov have said that there is no food shortage and that you will have access to food. This is really silly and quiet frustrating. I never really comment on thing nor come on UA-cam to have a fight but I really feel this must be said.
The National Emergency is the problem not people trying to survive. This is just week one of the 15 day stay in place. The situation is going to get worst as people lose their jobs.
I am always prepared, because of people like you. You should always think about being prepared, because we do not need this type of panic buying affecting those who really do have nothing in their fridge or pantry. The elderly and poor are going to suffer if we all keep this up.
Do what you gotta do! Dont feel bad for preparing for the worst case... I have a baby and of course it’s worrisome to think that you might not have enough to feed your kids when everyone is buying out the stores.
People saying this is more then what’s needed. Coming from someone who has a compromised immune system I needed this much food for my family of 4 because none of my family can or should leave the house till April 17 at this point. Even if we order delivery we are wiping everything down with disinfectant. I can not risk anything coming into the house. Also both of my kids have asthma. This is also per my dr recommendations. We are in California.
Same here. Little brother has a generic blood disorder that makes his immune system weak. Contracting third virus would probably be a death sentence to him, so did this so we can avoid going out as much as possible. People should know each individual situation before they judge. Since people are saying “oh they will restock and they won’t run out of food and stores will stay open” etc...well then the people who don’t want to or can’t stock up should be fine then, right?
The food is not an issue. It is the cleaning products and paper products that pose a problem. I don't have a gallbladder so trust me when I say I wipe my a** a lot and wash my hands 0a lot. I live in a house with 4 other people. We do not require in a month what she has in the background.

It is not mass hysteria, i have watch french and italian news for the past 2 months. Let me tell you are not worried enough. I have been buying food, fresh fruits and vege i frooze. Prepared meat sauce, marinara and froze them. I did it because i have grand children and like you their parents are too laid back. So it is not hysteria, it is called being prepared.
If you need a few extra things that’s fine but if you are going to hoard food you need to be ashamed. I’ve only just gotten home from visiting my grand mothering that was dying. I have VERY limited food items at my local shops now. 😡 no hand sanitizer for traveling, the schools can’t supply hand sanitizer for kids to use. Don’t hoard it’s inconsiderate and it causes people to go without cause you need 10 extra of everything. 😡

Stores will not close. Anywhere in the world do they ever close grocery. Not in italy. Not in china. Not in spain. Not in Korea. Not in uk. Not in Ireland. Not in France. Not in Australia
We always try to buy a few extra things When we can. An extra bag of rice or beans, a few canned goods, hand soap, etc. Family of 2 and we only have about $200 a month for food and household stuff. We make it work.
Us also. We are very busy working so we don't like to go shopping often. So long before this virus emerged we always bought 3-4 weeks worth of food. Sure glad we went out a few days before the panic buying started in our area. Be safe everyone
Reading through the comments and I just want to say...Jesus loves you. Why the negative comments telling her to stop hoarding all the food and her food is junk? Let her take care of her family the way she sees fit. How do you know this food isn't to help her mom and grandmother? You also don't have to watch it!!! Amazing right 🤯
I don't know if anyone has ever done this but when my 3rd child was born 46 years ago I was not producing much milk. My Swedish grandparents (B 1897 and 1900) heard about it and stopped by our house and brought a 6 pack of beer and told me to drink one every day to see if that would help. I hate beer but I drank it and guess what I was overflowing with milk. Should probably ask your doctor before you try it but maybe it will help you too. Good luck.
I have a family of 6 and we live in northwestern Ohio. Schools are closed for 3 weeks with the possibility of the rest of the year. Everything is closing. I didn't stock up and now there's nothing left. Really regretting it now. I think this is a realistic haul given what's going on. Do what's best for you and your family mama!!
We're a family of 8 and my cat just gave birth to 13 kittens. We are going through things faster than we ever have, especially with our kids not being in school. It seems like you were able to get a lot of what you needed.

There is not even such a thing as shutting down grocery stores. It’s a necessity. It’s open. Stays open. The reason we lack a little on the shelves now is because of people who did the same thing. Shame. Panicking and emptying for no reason, absolute no reason.
I cut meet in a grocery store there is plenty of food you just cannot be picky I'm so sick of hearing people bitch about not having their brand or flavor of things and I also don't blame her for stocking up you don't see how filthy people are they cough and hack all over the place I wouldn't want to buy food from a grocery store anytime soon
I think 🤔 you should stop watching the news and stay away from internet, people just doing to much, some people like myself don’t have the money to buy item. Just shop like you normally would. People buy 3 and 5 of one item. Save things for others.
JYCE VLOGS I can say what I feel, yes I got thing I needed, I didn’t over buy items. I left some of others also so go read a book stop 🛑 worrying about my comment. She didn’t have to buy this much stuff period..... Even the news telling people to stop over buying things. So shut the hell up
We don’t live in a country that limits what people can buy. She can buy as she wishes. Life’s not fair but we already knew that. People should stop apologizing about living their lives. I stocked up and probably would have bought even more if I didn’t live in a tiny apartment. But I grew up buying $1000 grocery per month just in case. When shit hits the fan everybody is for themselves.
True. Hopefully the people that stocked up do not have to go out to the store for awhile so when the stores does restock people who really need food can have the chance.
We always buy in bulk we have freezer we can store food for about 1-2 months or more. Why people are so mean in comments we dont know how long this will last. Her haul is a lot healthier than most I saw not all snack and sugar stuff.
Why are people hating on her trying to provide for her family in the middle of a crisis? What about all those extreme couponers that have stockpiles of food? World is going to shit because people have that it’s all about me instead of looking out for your neighbors. That’s what’s going to affect the elderly the fact no one will even care enough to look out for them. How can one judge her not knowing what she does on the daily? Much love and God Bless

Another thing we did was give the kids a small container and told them to pick 3 snacks for the day. If you eat them all that's it. You have to wait until the next day to get more. They are learning to stretch them out
Im sorry I try to not panic buy just get what I need I'm more worried for my son. But I keep in mind bigger families and those precious newborns. I hope it gets better
Exactly it looks like she took all the food for herself not just the kids we are the ones on the frontline as well that don’t get the chance to go out and get our families prepared
Sharelle Johnson- I suggest you start shopping online. Amazon still has food. I even bought food on eBay. FYI, being an overly dramatic drama queen over what other people bought is stupid...$800 worth of food is nothing for a family of six. We’ve known about this virus since January. The fact that you didn’t even think to prepare is on you, nobody else.
Try instacart. I tried it first time yesterday. You can pick delivery time that fits your schedule. I wasnt even a member at sams club and was able to order at non member prices
Shoot, I’m a family of five plus a dog... I would be shunned from humanity by these rude commentators if they found out the amount of food I bought. What she bought isn’t that much lol. Anyways, Seeing empty grocery shelves drives us mama’s to want to stay stocked at home (just in case). The crazy thing is it’s not even these kind of videos that drives us to “hoard” food as some ppl are saying. I am not ashamed to say, I stocked up on food and all the daily essentials. My family is my life and without them I’m good as dead. So I will do what I need to do to keep them healthy and happy.
Agreed. People act like you are not supposed to think of your family first. They never stop to think that moms don’t want to go back out to shop, and risk carrying virus back home. People are so dumb, and are so quick to tell others what they did wrong, while they think they are in a place to give advise or judgement!
All things Melissa- Melissa Lopez Same here! I’m not trying to be going to the store every few days picking up all kinds of germs and bringing them home. I bought enough to last so that I do not have to shop again for a good 3 weeks, maybe longer.
honestly don't think she bought too much. kids are going to be home, needing to be fed three times a day plus 2 snacks. and its a mth worth of groceries. possibly more. so I agree wth u. ppl trying to shame her for making sure her kids are fed. and yes I understand not everyone can afford to do it but that doesn't mean they need to make her feel bad because she can. I don't see what she bought as hoarding at all
For those of you saying she didn't buy a lot..... yah, she did. I'm a family of 5. My kids are 8, 10 and 16 and this amount would last me months (besides the milk and bread). This type of buying is why there is nothing in the stores. (Don't come at me saying her family is bigger with 6, her 4th kid is a baby and drinks formula!! )
Shyt I have 10 things of laundry detergent and I wash a load everyday ...I have two boys when it's on sale I stock up ..., But I've been good since before this shutdown lockdown began. Not taking no chances ...if we gotta be lockdown I'm good on everything and don't have to leave my house.
This would be a regular sized grocery hall for my house with 5 kids. People lashing out at her. This may last 2 or 3 weeks. I always got my groceries every 2 weeks to save on gas and time.
I must be missing something... this doesn't seem OVER BOARD to me... but I have a family of 11, it looks like a NORMAL week (maybe +2 days)... now the cleaning stuffs... a little over kill but to each his/her own...
I think you did fine, I don't know why everyone says its hoarding, my family of 5 (sometimes 6) shops like this plus drinks, we spend a lot on drinks. I always buy a weeks worth of meals, plus lunch & breakfast stuff, some snacks & extras if anything is on sale or Im running low.
We all are dealing with this in our own way, this is new for everyone. Please be kind, and don’t pass judgment, just because of how she’s dealing doesn’t look like how you and your family and dealing with it. It’s easy to point fingers and blame when we are all scared and uncertain.
I was going to reply to a comment but it seems to be repetitive. If you were all paying attention it was stated literally from day one to plan to be inside your home for 7 days. To get the things you needed. Of course you have people panicking but she in no way did anything wrong. She did not over buy and she is not up selling anything (that is illegal in an emergency crisis/natural disasters) then the ones commenting on how the stocked up on 80 pounds of animal food yet she did something wrong here? Maybe you should go take some of that to the animal shelters 🤦🏻♀️ this pandemic is going to last for months and it’s not even going to die out tell around fall. CA is already ordered to stay in their homes as of this evening. It’s called being prepared. She did what’s best for her family just like any of us would and did! I got a few extras to freeze and things we would normally not get to store away Incase we also come down to not being able to leave our homes. Shame on the people who actually are doing all these bad things but she is not one of them. Her mom, grandma and one of her girls (gets upper respiratory issues) could easily get super sick from this and it’s serious! Her mom literally was just really sick! If you all were true followers of hers then you would be seeing all of that. To me it’s allot of people being stuck in their homes and they have nothing but time to pick on people!!
Well this is why I'm almost 9 month's pregnant an can't find the nutritious Foods I need to continue building a healthy baby, it's ridiculous I shouldn't be eating just pasta not everybody can afford to go out and buy the entire grocery store, I literally am unable to just get the immediate things, I would normally buy that I need for the health of me and my unborn baby!!! This is not a good look! People need to stop Panic buying!!
Stop freaking judging ppl I buy in bulk all the time I’m a family of 6 . I do what’s best for my family your bf/ husband should be able to shop for you
Everything she has is usable by her family, so yes I am sure she will be happy with it. And had you listened to her, her family was running low on supplies and needed to stock up. I don't blame you not one bit. End times are definitely here . I wouldn't even be worried about how bad this is going to get if it wasn't for my kids. Just thinking of then suffering because of stupid people makes me ball my eyes out.
I feel you on this , I have 3 school age kiddos and it’s definitely a stressful time. I can’t imagine my kids being babies and having to worry about formula , diapers or wipes though given the situation at stores.
I notice alot of fresh veggies at the grocery store. I picked up zucchini, squash, Yukon potatoes, green beans, spinach, ect....and decided to blanch, or completely cook each, and flash freeze, or can them myself. I did this because freezer, and canned veggies are no longer on shelves in stores near me.
We don’t know what the long term economic effects of all this will be even after the quarantine and virus pass. I’m already seeing the effects of inflation & supply line disruptions as well as people buying up essential goods for resale at a huge markup. I’ve been furloughed and though I expect to return to work at the end of this who knows what kind of hours will be available or if the company can survive this. We need to stock up on cash as well since rent or mortgage is normally a set expense, so we’re not gonna blow our savings on food but in anticipation of inflation (at least short term) and not knowing how long quarantine will be (making as few trips as possible) it makes sense to stock up on as much as we can store and will definitely use. I don’t apologize, at some point everyone not trying to profit from the crisis will reach their capacity and just be shopping to resupply of fresh foods etc... and stores will eventually be able to stay stocked at least on things that are produced within the country like much food and toilet paper, and those trying to profit will be left with thousands of dollars of stuff everyone can get everywhere and everyone will know what jerks they are going forward. There are stores and venders that have lost my business forever and I think others will remembers the bad guys in their area as well.
Being prepared is one thing but hoarding food and other supplies is ridiculous. The social media and the news are blowing this virus out of proportion. The flu has killed 60,000 people this year and nobody is talking about that. This shit is nuts. All these people hoarding stuff are making it harder for other families with children to be able to get anything.
Laurie Hairfield I shop at Costco and Sam’s club which sells food items by bulk and don’t have any kids. Am I hoarding because I only have 2 people in my household and buy in bulk? No. I get what I need for as long as I think I need it. She is doing the same.
@@s0nGsTriSs I know what Cosco is you don't need tell me about it like I'm stupid. In times like these if your gonna buy in bulk you should share with people less fortunate. Donate some of the items. At least that's what I would do . I care about my neighbors and other people not just myself and my family. When there's not a national emergency go buy all the bulk you want and stock pile it.
Laurie Hairfield I wasn’t trying to be condescending. Of course we have to look out for each other but also have to look out for ourselves. It’s a harsh reality, but it’s true. Hope you stay safe and healthy.
No, this was a great idea. Who are you to decide what’s a good idea for someone else? She’s not going to sit back and wait for the government to tell her what she can buy or how much. We don’t live in a third-world country. You can continue to go out to fast food restaurants, while the rest of the country is cooking safely for their families.
Word to the wise hun, if you’re going to hoard maybe don’t brag and share on UA-cam because so many can’t get stuff locally. I’m a youtuber too but I will be very sensitive about what I post from now on, making sure it’s useful and entertaining for my subbies. Think of old people who are having to go out repeatedly to get a few items because they either don’t drive or are in low income and can’t stick up like you. Nobody needs more than 14 days worth of food and supplies in case of self isolation. Very greedy
PaperwormsCat not even sure why people are sharing these types of videos online, I’ve seen a lot of couponers sharing their stash, and thing it’s dumb given the circumstances
That wasn’t a lot at all in my opinion. I’m a family of 4 and i bought that much lol. We can go through a box and a half of past In 1 meal! They are telling us to stock up for 2-3 weeks! This is NOT a lot at all. People are crazy! Keep doing you. I love your content!
This is why they limited how many items you can buy now at HEB. So for me, a single mom of 3 I have to go to the store every week and cant even buy what we need for 2 weeks cause of the limits. Tomorrow I have to get out with my 7 week old cause we're out of food. When I went to HEB I had to put some things back cause of the limits.
Things are changing rapidly! Yes some things are being restocked but in some areas of the country there not. If stocking up makes her feel better than so be it. Plus maybe she grabbed things for other family members. Remember to be kind and a friend during these hard times.
The thing is she’s buying way more stuff than she needs so now there’s going to be people that have to go without because people are greedy and selfish. If you don’t need it at the time being don’t buy it. There’s other people on this planet.
dede king I respect what you are saying. I just feel like because we don’t know everything (not that we should). We should not judge. The world needs more love and light right now.
The "think of yourself and your family only" is the mentality that is driving this craziness. If you want to prepare for things like this, you do it slowly and not at a time when people need it. Wuhan markets are still stocked and they are in the center of this mess. Calm down, people. Trucks are still running, food is still coming. You may not get your faves, but you will not go hungry.
I am baffled at how many people are bashing her for shopping for her family. If she did not prepare and her children went hungry you all would say she is an unfit parent. Sheesh you all are sad. Get up early and do what you have to for your family. Watch her and take notes.
It’s just me and my husband, but only bought 1 loaf of bread, 1 bag of cheese bagels, tomatoes to make salsa (lol, it’s a necessity) and OJ. Already had some stuff like pb and jelly...I usually buy way more every week, but I was over the crowds and empty shelves and said F it, We will be ok. May order dog food because I only got one medium bag. Hope you got your pets food! Chewy is prob how I’ll order, if they aren’t out/closed.
Her watch says March 13th, March 11th-14th, was like the worst shopping days... Stores were hit so hard. I dont stock or hoard, but since my 3 kids are home and I am now working from home, I have spent so much more on food in the last month than I normally would.
You are very fortunate to have found so much for your large family. In my area there is still plenty of food which I am tremendously grateful for. However I cannot find disinfectant and cleaning products, paper goods (toilet paper, paper towel and water) I’ve been traveling out of county everyday to find things. We have gathered a fair supple now and praying that this goes away. Now we are shopping for the elders in our church who don’t drive and those who don’t have the financial resources to purchase food etc. I’m learning how important it is to always put aside some of everything for a “rainy day”.
@@jd8272 Power and water service has remained on in Wuhan, China, the epicenter that has been devastated by this virus,. There's literally no reason, barring a natural disaster like an earthquake or similar, that electricity or water would be interrupted. People need to stop catastrophizing.

You don’t have to justify what you spend or how much u buy, adding a couple of extra stuff isn’t bad, its sensible. Here in Australia it was pigs that were buying trolley loads of one item and then fighting about it. We also have stopped lots of shopping specials, we don’t have coupons like the USA, and a lot of supermarkets have increased the prices on items. I’m tired of people saying they can’t afford it etc, if you can’t manage your money that’s no ones fault but your own. There’s plenty of ways to save money but a lot of people can’t be bothered.
People are STILL panic shopping it looks like here in both HEB & Walmart. And it’s April 28th. I do have toilet paper only because I bought one package anytime I saw it in the store, even if it’s not a brand I usually use. I buy hand sanitizer when they have it. But, I do my normal shopping at beginning of month.
I went last Friday. I’m so glad I did as well. I haven’t been back out, and I don’t plan to either, unless necessary. The schools are closed through April 6. Stay healthy and safe. Enjoy this time with your family. Things could be much worse. God bless 🙏🏼❤️
Well our Gov here in Australia says we might be in lockdown for up to 6 months. Who knows maybe it will be that way for America and other countries as well. Maybe that's why people are hoarding so much.
BLW is only recommend for babies at least 6 months old, can sit up unassisted and have a good pincer grasp. Even purees are recommended for babies at least 6 months old as well.
Yes and no, if your baby is able to sit unassisted with 4,5 or 5 months, can pick up food and is interested in food it's okay to start. Others aren't interested in anything with 12 months and still want to be breastfed or drink formula.
Some people in the comments are so mean and rude. I feel like they missed the part where you said 'as a medical professional' meaning you work in the medical field. It's very likely she works long hours and doesn't get time to shop. On top of that, she's in a position where she's likely to catch the virus and would have to stay home for a long period of time as well (in the event of catching the virus)
Everyone in my city bought all the meat! Once the corona made it to the first few 10 states I said shiiiit let me go get my food before shit hits the fan because why would it skip us? and the week after I did which is the end of last week everyone panicked and cleaned out the dollar store, Walmart, meijer, now you can’t even find chicken or beef.
Did you see the horrible person somewhere here in Texas buying all the formula she could and reselling it on Facebook marketplace for 70$ a can? Was even selling the scoops for 10$. She's been repeatedly reported to the attorney general for price gouging but no-one knows if it's illegal since she's an individual and not a business...but the evilness to do that to struggling parents/babies. Horrible woman.
Panic buying is scary. The virus hit Hong Kong first, one day it was fine and then suddenly there is rumor saying we won't get any more tissue for a while because China stopped all factories. By the time I got off work 3 or 4 hours later, there was absolutely no tissue, toilet paper, kitchen paper whatsoever. Lucilky I still have a few rolls at home, and I think I spent couple of hours searching online before I could find some more to order.....
Everyone attacking her for buying so much, you clearly have no idea how much food it takes to feed 3 children plus adults all their meals. It looks like a normal grocery haul with some extras. Plus she has a baby. I had the same issue trying to find baby water for my newborn. It does not seem crazy or selfish she has to provide for Her Family. If you don’t like it don’t watch. Worse are the people buying 10 packs of toilet paper at Costco that they don’t need. I would buy like her to avoid going out so much
Just and FYI for everybody, this is why slowly stock piling is essential. Always try to buy an extra few things every grocery shop, even if it's only 1 or 2 cans of veggies, or a marked down package of meat. Anyone can be stocked piled for months, it just takes time.
sue smith Great advice👍🏾
Such awesome advice!
I agree 100% with that , It does not take much to stock up a little at a time !
She makes a comment stating we are too big of a family not to have food. Guess what, if you are a family of 1 to 20, you still have to have food.
Cindy Sams, you have to do what’s better or your family and self, if you need food and supplies by them, it’s best to have them be with out
We are told to stay home from doing unnecessary things , keep a safe distance from people wash hands protect yourself and others as best you can, grocery stores will remain open as will pharmacy's and we can go to dr appointments for now.
But the problem is even though there MIGHT be food, I don't want to be exposing myself to the virus. That's why people bought extra to stay in
you problem is mostly your goverment sucks...
I just hope people everywhere are not letting food go to waste. I am eating leftovers first in order they were made. I am not being picky right now.
Theresa Mazuca , right and the way the stores are looking, we can’t afford to waste nothing

I know when I had pets I bought the good stuff, mostly products from the actual vets.
Ms. Jennifer's Life I picked up food (4 fourteen pound bags of dry food) for my dog 30 minutes after the President's first speech and I saw that Italy had closed their country. I figured closing USA could possibly happen also.
I was at my local Save A Lot today & I noticed the bags of dog food were pretty well gone. I was glad I didn't need any.
I got a big bag of catlitter & 2 boxes of can food 😊
It’s nice that some people can post and brag about their haul, while many of us are left with nothing to buy because these hoarders didn’t leave anything for the rest of us
I don't think people should hoard stuff but why didn't you try to stock up sooner?
things were still operating normally, so I only shopped for what I needed during my day off last week. I was working when the panic started, so I had no choice but to wait for my next day off to go shopping, but by the time I got to the stores, the shelves are already empty
Dawn DiGianni, thank you. I hope you have what you need, as well. I think, I just vented my frustrations when I commented. Take care!
Anabelle Lopez this is her normal girl.
I cant even find toilet paper to buy where I live bc people are hoarding it. It's ridiculous!!
I consider this hoarding just by buying over $1,000 in food! Least she didnt clear 1 store I guess.
Carolyn Collins I call it survival of the fittest.
Amen to that!
I have more than this stock piled TBH 😂, people need to relax
Exactly sue Smith I been ready
This would be why there's no food left on the shelves for people to just get a few things.

Care of her family. Gasp.
I really hope stores start limiting quantities people can purchase....
Imar5d you clearly did not heard what she said. She has 6 people in her family. Including four kids. She is been smart.
ADRIVONE that’s $1100 in groceries in 2 weeks?!
There is no reason to buy this much food right now. The stores are fine, as long as we do not buy like this. It is ridiculous.
Grocery stores will not shut down. Even in Italy, they keep groceries and pharmacies open.
You are fine
TheOutsidersPost The idea behind stocking up is so you can stay home and out of the stores! People just aren’t getting it.
I felt like this was a regular grocery haul for her.
What is baby water? Im in australia and I’ve never heard of that. Good job stocking up for your family, ignore all the hate comments, i got them on my grocery haul too for buying too much pasta, my partners italian and thats a normal amount for us hahah but people will always hate on something! 💗
They do always hate on something don't they. Sometimes it seems worse during these situations.
Is fluoride water for the making of formula
Amber Thank You for saying that. I said the same on another comment (I scroll to the bottom and read up) If people really watch her channels they will know that this isn't out of the ordinary shopping for her. Plus she is not above helping out her family, friends, neighbors or strangers.

I never really comment on thing nor come on UA-cam to have a fight but I really feel this must be said.
she's a shop a holic with a fear of missing out on the 'excitement' of shopping like the other crazies.
She said in her video that she does not want people to panic. I think we are all scared even if we do not want to admit it.
The National Emergency is the problem not people trying to survive. This is just week one of the 15 day stay in place. The situation is going to get worst as people lose their jobs.
Exactly! Supermarkets won’t close, they will continue to be stock up, slowly bit surely. We are a family of 5 and didn’t buy 1/3 of what she did.
Her baby is not weaned but she bought baby food anyway. I hope there was enough of it -- and other things -- for people who had a more immediate need.
Like her over buying
That's what been saying...but ppl getting on her about it ..
The food is not an issue. It is the cleaning products and paper products that pose a problem. I don't have a gallbladder so trust me when I say I wipe my a** a lot and wash my hands 0a lot. I live in a house with 4 other people. We do not require in a month what she has in the background.

Well when Yu have kids Yu always have backup ... sorry not sorry...I brought everything so I wouldn't have to leave my house Period...and I don't cuz my kids and I have everything we need for the next month but hey I coupon and been stocked up on food and supplies... My son and I are servere asthmatics so nope I'm not leaving my home to potentially get infected.
M P if people like you weren’t so greedy and selfish, most people wouldn’t be in this situation
@@chloeshepherd I'm greedy but I haven't been to the store but once since they lockdown schools and it was my regular grocery store trip but hey my kids and I will be great and don't have to leave out and worry about getting this virus 😷🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
chloeshepherd too bad
Just please don't let this food expire or get thrown away.
I don’t blame you for feeding your family , this is basically a normal haul just a little extras . I’m more scared of the stores closing too & I only have a a family of 3 & Im pregnant & i stocked up like I have a family of 5 , because you don’t need to keep running too the store . Stay prepared & stay home ❤️
Stop being stupid the stores won't close and if you are that concerned stop popping out kids
Good luck.
Exakt så inte många som vet det tricket 👍😊
@@Lindstrom843 I translated you message. So is this still something common in Sweden today? 😀
Schools are closed 3 weeks?? Ours are closed until September in canada
Until September? I had no idea! Is everything else closed too?
We're a family of 8 and my cat just gave birth to 13 kittens. We are going through things faster than we ever have, especially with our kids not being in school. It seems like you were able to get a lot of what you needed.
Stop buying think about others who can not buy food out there cos all off this people do have kids to feed stop panic buy we all can not afford it think about babies and kids poor people pls as request to u all pls stop buying as it’s not fair on others think as no food left on shelf I am in a situation I have no food to buy so stop buying pls
Zabun Nassa exactly! Being prepared is a wise thing to do.
But getting panic and try to buy whatever we find on store is just being selfish!
Very well said I'm in WI and haven't been able to fine toilet paper in 2 weeks. This kind of buying is bullshit
Save things for others.
places are doing mandatory quarantine for 3 weeks.... not time to tell other people what to do or what not to buy ... If they need it they need it
JYCE VLOGS I can say what I feel, yes I got thing I needed, I didn’t over buy items. I left some of others also so go read a book stop 🛑 worrying about my comment. She didn’t have to buy this much stuff period..... Even the news telling people to stop over buying things. So shut the hell up
@@shamarr81 grow up
We don’t live in a country that limits what people can buy.
Melissa, thank you for being honest and real!! I’m a mother to 4 children family of 6 I have a grocery budget that went out the window when this all hit, I’m in mom mode more than ever about the supplies an food on hand. I to try to stock pile when there’s a good deal, everyone shaming her should take a long look in the mirror, I don’t have a lot of money but I do put some to the side Incase of emergency. My children are all out of school til April 6th at least... here in CA, Please Everyone She’s doing what’s best for her an her family. I pray everyone has a kind heart an try not to be so mean in a world that is already harsh. Stay safe and sanitized 💕
I couldnt imagine having a baby during these times. Prayers for you
I know I'm 57 and have 3 grown kids i do think about that?
My friend has one!! One month old! Trust me no good at all!
I will never for the life of me understand why people watch videos they don’t like.... IN THEIR ENTIRETY.... and then make rude comments!!! How about.... JUST DONT WATCH THE DAMN VIDEO??! One day people will show love and not hate... ONE DAMN DAY!!
Another thing we did was give the kids a small container and told them to pick 3 snacks for the day. If you eat them all that's it. You have to wait until the next day to get more. They are learning to stretch them out
just an FYI nurses work all kinds of hours and are finding empty shelves.. ijs
This isn’t thinking of your family first. This is hoarding.
I just said this to my wife. I didn't "hoard", but I made sure we are good for a month or so. I would be talked about badly if I did videos. Lol
honestly don't think she bought too much. kids are going to be home, needing to be fed three times a day plus 2 snacks. and its a mth worth of groceries. possibly more. so I agree wth u. ppl trying to shame her for making sure her kids are fed. and yes I understand not everyone can afford to do it but that doesn't mean they need to make her feel bad because she can. I don't see what she bought as hoarding at all
For those of you saying she didn't buy a lot..... yah, she did. I'm a family of 5. My kids are 8, 10 and 16 and this amount would last me months (besides the milk and bread). This type of buying is why there is nothing in the stores. (Don't come at me saying her family is bigger with 6, her 4th kid is a baby and drinks formula!! )
How greedy, here is the reason why the shelves empty for those in need now
Ur kidding me right???
You're not going to use all that soap and cleaning supplies in the time YOU MAY BE QUARANTINED 🤦♀️🤦♀️
WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU.
Ok had a family of 7, this is a normal haul
Right. We're a family of eight and this would be maybe a day or so over two weeks worth of food.
Be safe guys.
Right? People are so pressed and this would be slightly under 3 weeks food for 6. And the breakfast stuff isn't even enough 😂
People are picking up like 4 to 5 gallons of milk.. how many days they think they can drink it!?
Sri Sri It freezes well
It can freeze.... just shake it up when it thaws.
Sri Sri , where the heck you from, that you don’t know milk can be frozen 🙀
We go through a gallon every 2 days.
Sri Sri my grandsons are all under 3. I froze 8 gallons of milk for them. They drink a gallon every two days. It freezes well for up to 3 months!!!
People are panic buying because they're scared of other people panic buying and not being able to feed their family
Stop freaking judging ppl I buy in bulk all the time I’m a family of 6 . I do what’s best for my family your bf/ husband should be able to shop for you
When this all blows over i hope you are happy with your thrown of toilet paper and supply's
As a medical professional, you should know better
She has kids. Anyone with children needs to be prepared, period.
This kind of video perpetuates all the panic people are feeling.. This was a bad idea. You have a shopping addiction.
Sandra K she always shops this way, sorry she’s prepared and you’re not.
This is y I STOCKKK UP!!! All year round!! Not only when things get bad lol!
And this is why you rock ! I'll never EVER make fun of people who stock up all year round, I want to be one of yours ! ;)
Very greedy
Um she has kids stop being so rude
What are panicky about the shut down? Running out of stuff? Just curious, I am trying to understand what people are panicking about.
I hope you never mentioned where you live, or people will try to break into your Garage for toilet paper and kitchen towels 🤣
So start shopping smarter and putting together a back up pantry. Don’t blame her.
I’ve been searching for soap and the Lysol wipes for a month and no luck still
Things are changing rapidly!
Three& Done yeah so be it if another family is starving right?
A lot of negative people out there... she’s doing what’s right for her family. Worry about yourselves and less about what others are doing 🙄
Jaclyn because this effects is all right now!!
Good for you for getting enough food to keep you from having to go out again soon!! Thats the whole point to not go out as much!! Stay safe!

Take a deep breath and chill the heck out!
Question why can’t you just use boiled water for the baby’s formula? That’s all I did for my three babies?
Allison I guess you could, and if it gets to that we will, but we have enough gallons to last a little while now. So hopefully it doesn’t get to that.
Lol why would you lose power
diana nielsen I was wondering that myself. The virus ain’t got a thing to do with the power grid.

It's very likely she works long hours and doesn't get time to shop. On top of that, she's in a position where she's likely to catch the virus and would have to stay home for a long period of time as well (in the event of catching the virus)
You’re part of the problem 🤷🏻♀️
Everyone in my city bought all the meat! Once the corona made it to the first few 10 states I said shiiiit let me go get my food before shit hits the fan because why would it skip us? and the week after I did which is the end of last week everyone panicked and cleaned out the dollar store, Walmart, meijer, now you can’t even find chicken or beef.
I found hams yesterday, they were in abundance, maybe your store will have some. If you work it right you can get at least 5 meals out of 1.
She can still he charged because it's a state of emergency
You're doing the right thing for your family
