Idk how I even fell into the rabbit hole of huge grocery hauls. They stress me out but I’m so intrigued 👀 I get annoyed putting away $100 worth of groceries I can’t even imagine putting all this away! Now all of the sudden I have an urge to go to Costco 🧐
I love to stock up for my family. We don’t eat out much unless we order pizza but this is perfect for a large family who eats at home for all meals plus snacks for the kids! Best haul ever!
I personally think it is smarter to shop this way. I am single with no kids, so currently I kinda just shop as I need things, but that will change once I start a family. Never feel guilty for how you guys utilize the money YOU earn! Thanks for posting. Your family’s day-to-day antics make my quarantine life a little bit better! ❤️
You don’t have to justify how much you spend, I love huge grocery hauls! I can live vicariously through you guys haha I’ve stopped myself from going to Costco since March because I know I’d spend well over what I should be spending, so it’s nice to watch other people do it lol
I love stock shopping, I just hate the part of having to put it all away. Another lady who does stock shopping is Queen’s Cabinet I believe is her name!! Great haul Melissa, thanks for sharing!
it' great to stock up like that, I would just be stressing to have to put it all away. I hope you have the storage for all that. Alot of good buys though. You are definitely set for the summer. Hope you all enjoy the pool and have lots of family fun this summer.
We recently spent 750 dollars at Costco to refill our basics - I have 2 pantry areas in the kitchen, a bottom freezer in the refrigerator, a huge standing freezer in the garage, and a large double door storage cabinet in the garage as well. I have a large basket with a hinged top to store paper towels and toilet paper. We normally don't spend this much at Costco. It took me a bit of time to get it all put away.
Daaaaaang this made me want to go grocery shopping which I've been procrastinating on but I swear if I had the money/space I'd do a haul like this for my channel. You go girl 🙌🏻😘
Omg ive been waiting all day for this. But $1800😱 that would have to last me for at least 6 months.. It might be just me but I even feel better for you that you stocked up finally..
Hi. Wooooowwwww! This is a LOT OF WORK!🤪 👏👏👏 3 questions. 1- Did you make a detailed shopping list prior to this? 2- How many fridges and freezers do you have in your house? 3- How large is your family? Thanks
Nothing wrong with stocking up! As long as things don’t go to waste which most stuff your freezing so it’s a blessing to have the finances to do this 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾awesome haul 😉
There’s a difference between hoarding and stock piling for a period of time!!! You do you and what’s best for your family!!!!! I actually am loving my new shelves for stock piling because I hate to shop.....
I wish I had a SAMs or COSTCO near me because even though there's only me and my two little girls still in the house, I'd definitely buy bulk. I don't have a deep freezer or large refrigerator so I guess I could only do pantry items but, I can see the savings in buying bulk! I'm a couponer and always price check! Too bad my closest location is more than an hour away so I'll just have to continue to hit up sales with my coupons.
It’s okay you spent that much you do not have to explain anything to anyone we appreciate you being honest and sharing with us. Don’t let a few rude people dictate how you feel if you want to make sure your family is fed and that cost 1800 then that is what you spend and it’s healthier to eat at home than to eat out everyday
Enormous haul! 😀 I don’t understand how you manage to eat everything before it goes bad. Like the carrots, the lettuce.... Do you freeze the yoghurts or what is the date on them?
I would love to know how you keep things good for the long haul. I've done some monthly hauls, but much of the produce is bad before we get to it, or we just have to eat it up and only have some of the stuff we enjoy that first week and then go without (salad stuff etc). I'd love to know what you freeze and what you don't to make that work and if you go back out to add in fresh produce or if you just do salads in the beginning and then go without.
I'm pretty sure they shop in between for fresh produce. I have watched other videos that do claim that if you store produce such as apples and potatoes in cardboard boxes and in a cool place they store well.
Id rather go twice then have to store this all at once in my house lol... and that’s coming from someone who hasnt been inside an actual store since March 12th 🤓
@@paolasoltero53 write what you have down on a master list. Everything. Then as you use it you check off what you used. That way you know what you got and if you have a master shopping list you know where your money's going and what you need or don't
Those Koru apples are so good! Very crisp:) I've been finding them at the 99 cent store here in SA...I had never heard of them either, but now we love them. Thanks for sharing your fantastic stock up haul Melissa :)
They are always something lucky about our family. The story of grocery like : When we went, Mr.Chens an ortinaltel store . They gave us four different flavor of jelly. We got it for free. Then here is another store Kroger. We were doing grocery shopping and they gave us a special cranberry bread for 1.00 and it was the last one. My mom had bougrh a fruit was a dollar and was on sale for 43 cents, We pay only 41 cents. The 1st story is my dad and I. The second store is just Mom and I. Then Mom only at the thrid store, When comes food is only a little of our luck. My brother was 11 years old and he flew solo since 8 years old as I remember. Our parents paid basic class seat. He was on the airplane and airtended and piolot gave him a first kid. My brother and I on the plane with Mom to go to New Hampshire. It is a full-packed . It was my 1st time sit on isle but my mom was at the backrow, We all were in backroll. Then nice stranger made organim out of a dollar bill to each of us. True luck is never earned until you worked for it. Mom helped a homeless family by buyin them a blankent , tenis shoes, and give them a decent amount. Brother has clean up chruch for boyscout. In elementary, At 5th grade we clean up the playround. I help to stop a bully at summer camp. Both brother and I were quite for 1 1/2 hr flight. All of us give our clothes to goodwill or our friend, We always put our money in salvation since we your young.
That is a HUGE Haul!! I'm so glad my kids are grown! Lol. It is just my hubby n I now and I shop twice a month. My grocery budget is $250 per month. I remember spending $300 a week when my kiddos were teenagers and never stopped eating. Lol
Melissa Ramirez same here. Three teenage boys eat a lot! I have to say I spent a lot more on produce than meat until we bought land, built a house, barn/shop and put in a quarter acre garden. Now it’s just my husband and me with the garden and cleaver shopping, we spend about $175 a month. I still can produce and share with my sons and their families.
I’m a single mom of one, so clearly the most I spend would be $300-400 a month and it would last me all summer...but. I love watching these megahauls anyway. 🍿 but putting all that stuff away would give me stress, nevermind that my small townhome only has one side by side fridge and small pantry lol
I live In the uk and spend about £100 a week , I love American food hauls ! My family live in Nyc so I love to get bits when I come over , much love stay safe xx
Wow formula is so expensive in America! In Ireland it's about 16 euro for container like that! Even the specialty premature baby formula is only 20 euro.
With the state the economy is currently in, $1800 doesn’t seem that unusual anymore for wholesale shopping!! My husband and I can easily spend $300-$400 on just a regular two week “grocery” haul at Costco! And with a baby due next month I am sure that price will quickly increase overtime! I only wish I had that kind of money to do that all in day!! 🙌🏼
I agree money does not go as far. I used to get hamburger for around $2 a pound now in my town $6 a pound . Chicken breast used to be $1.49 a pound now $3.99 a pound. I cant shop for what I won't to eat now I have to shop for what I can afford.
probably the best haul ever!! lol i really enjoyed this one... i'm 2 hours south of you but we don't have a costco or sams here... corpus is the closest and i always hear bad things about sams club over there! lol so i get to live my costco experience through you! lol
I don't want it to come across the wrong way, but I have so many questions. How will you finish the summer without going back for fresh fruits and veggies? Do you waste a lot of food? All the fresh produce must go bad before it's done or do you freeze it or something? Do you plan your meals ahead of time? Do you homecook also or it's only the processed foods? I'm not American so I'm very intrigued about this lifestyle! Not judging :)
😲 how many people live in this house. We eat home a lot but my food would spoil that’s my worry I like fresh food for my family I just can’t imagine cooking this much food
How do you keep the fruits from going bad? Everytime I'm at Costco i want to buy all the fruits but have to limit myself to 2 (usually do grapes and strawberries) otherwise things will go bad before we get a chance to eat them
Ok yeah...I have a table of stuff as well but wow..where are you going to put everything?? Your kitchen has almost the same design as mine. Is an instapot your friend?? 😯😊 paper plates 👍 have fun organizing ❤👍
You can get fridge keepers (Rubbermaid makes them in Canada-not sure if it’s the same company in the States). The veggies will still die, lol, but they last MUCH longer. Also, I’ve found beeswax wrap instead of plastic wrap helps, too!
We wrap lettuce heads and celery (don't wash) in aluminum foil. Make sure it's completely covered. You will be AHMAZED how long it will keep in the fridge.

Ohhh I hope your Costco gets Turkey bacon soon! The ones I go to (Washington) have just one option I think, but it's soo good and a 4 pack for around $11/12. Freezes excellent also. Definitely worth keeping an eye out for!
Having a large storeroom full of canned, dried and packaged items in case we cannot or do not want to go to the store means that we (I will speak for myself here) end up eating a lot of foods that really are not good for us. Canned vegetables full of salt, packaged macaroni products full of salt and chemicals, canned beans (salt), and other instant foods that may have sugar in them. After I stockpiled quite a bit (for me, at least) I kept having to go to the store for fresh vegetables, fruits, milk, cheese, eggs and bread. I actually got a salt overload for awhile due to eating canned and processed foods to avoid the stores. Not good.
Maaaannn... my husband looked @ me dumb when I spent $178.00 lmao. He really has no clue. Great haul. I know all that had to be exhausting, just know we appreciate all your effort. Hugs to ya mama💞
My husband will too! Like wth did you buy? Trying to feed family of 4. Spend a good 300$ on just resupplying our meat stock that will last us about 2 months of meals.
She does UA-cam , etsy , H&R Block during tax season and until just recently was a RN. She also sells the nail stickers Also she might BIG might RECEIVE AID FOR EMILY. Andres is a manager at a restaurant.
Wow where do you keep it all? I only have a small chest freezer and small drawer freezer in my refrig. The refrig. is not big enough to hold all the staples and fresh stuff so buying large bulk packages of food is out. Fortunately there are only 2 of us. Still interesting to see what others find at the warehouse supermarkets.
Can your family eat all the perishables before they expire? Don't u still have to shop weekly for those - since they obviously are fresh and need to b eaten within a week?
This may be a personal question but do you hold off on these big purchases until you have the cash saved up or do you wait till cash back is offered on credit cards ?
I could easily spend that much at both stores...but there’s only two of us and I live in a RV! How large is your family? That is a lot of fresh produce! As a vegan even I’d have trouble eating all of that. We’re almost neighbors, I live in Spring Branch
Hi from the Uk.... Now that's what I call a Costco haul. Thanks for sharing and how long did that you to put it all away???. I think the biggest I've done at Costco it about £1400.00 so much fun.
pots and pans you sound ignorant and disgusting. My family spends $1200 a month easily on groceries. Don’t be angry because you’re broke and others aren’t.
Idk how I even fell into the rabbit hole of huge grocery hauls. They stress me out but I’m so intrigued 👀 I get annoyed putting away $100 worth of groceries I can’t even imagine putting all this away!

You guys rock! No explanations are necessary!!! You take care of your family and that’s all that’s matters!!!! Keep doing you!!! 😊
I feel like I could spend this much at the store and STILL manage to forget to purchase things lol
I feel you. It would be something simple like paper towel
Karla Rodriguez I know lol
I have a master list for Costco - before we go I go through and mark what we need. It helps to prevent forgetting things.
Facts lol
You are me...I am you lol I ALWAYS forget something.
yowza, that haul cost more than my monthly net worth.
I love, love, love grocery hauls...I’m going to grab a cup of coffee and enjoy this massive haul. Tee hee!! That must have been so fun to do. 💕💕
I love stock shopping, I just hate the part of having to put it all away. Another lady who does stock shopping is Queen’s Cabinet I believe is her name!! Great haul Melissa, thanks for sharing!

It’s crazy how it adds up! And no need to apologize. You weren’t excessive. You’re just feeding your family ❤️
Been watching you for a while now and I love your transparency you are amazing and thanks for being just you girl.

This is how I shop!! We have 8 family members and this helps us save a ton in the long run.
woohhhooooooooooo! What a ginormous haul! You got some great stuff. I love it!
Amazing!!! We have not attempted a shopping trip this big due to lack of storage! But hopefully that will be changing soon!!
As long as it doesn’t go bad or wasted then it doesn’t matter. I buy in bulk, like super bulk and have no regrets. If you can afford it, go girl!
i love how you shop that is my kinda shopping great job and your very nice thinking about your family and friends ❤️☺️

Great job! I tell you it's so hard shopping all in one day! Thanks for sharing!
I am supper inspired to budget better to have a huge haul like this I hate going to the store often
Id rather go twice then have to store this all at once in my house lol... and that’s coming from someone who hasnt been inside an actual store since March 12th 🤓

March 17th for me 😎
i still shop once a week, better for us.

You've got a lot of good stuff in there! Great haul! ☺️
i love your hauls
12:06. that dumpling is soooo delicious!
Fun part gotta put it all away , have a great day
how do you keep your salad and lettuce fresh? i think im doing something wrong as it just not lasting in my fridge :/
You will be AHMAZED how long it will keep in the fridge.
that is true paper plates are more easier to use
Wow formula in the USA is exspensive! It’s £8-£10 a tub here so for four tubs would only be £40 (uk) 🙃 great haul btw :) xx
Hello Melissa!!🙂🙂 Wow great grocery haul!!🍇🍉🥕
Here in Melbourne, Oz we don’t put the soft plastic in our recyclable bin. But take it to bins in some supermarkets.. I’m wondering how would you do it in the U.S?? Because whilst I admit that plastic can be necessary, they’re sadly also atrocious for our poor environment. Also, as the shopper for my little 2 adult household, can I just say WOW, y’all did great to stock up. Stay safe and healthy
In my town in MI we have to take soft plastic to the grocery store to recycle. The machines get jammed otherwise.
Thanks for sharing! This must have taken you a long time to prep! Love the hauls
I love the adelias pineapple and bacon sausages!! Tastes like pineapple ham it’s so good
Ohhh I hope your Costco gets Turkey bacon soon! The ones I go to (Washington) have just one option I think, but it's soo good and a 4 pack for around $11/12. Freezes excellent also. Definitely worth keeping an eye out for!
Wow, I never realised how expensive formula was in America, you could get 15 tins for £150 in the UK
It’s a shame what food costs nowadays. Peaches sound yummy! Thank you for sharing your haul! Always excited for your videos.
I wanna know how long it took to put that all away lolll
Melissa said that from the shopping to filming an putting it away it took her 6 hrs
No vitamins for hubby?
Having a large storeroom full of canned, dried and packaged items in case we cannot or do not want to go to the store means that we (I will speak for myself here) end up eating a lot of foods that really are not good for us. You are right!
You should do a video on your snack storage hun. Love you videos, God bless!

Hi from the Uk.... Now that's what I call a Costco haul. Thanks for sharing and how long did that you to put it all away???. I think the biggest I've done at Costco it about £1400.00 so much fun.
It may sound crazy but I don’t think 1800.00 isn’t a lot of money. Y’all have kids and you do an AWSOME job cooking meals at home for the family.
pots and pans you sound ignorant and disgusting. My family spends $1200 a month easily on groceries. Don’t be angry because you’re broke and others aren’t.
Nice Groceries Haul
WOW! That’s a lot of grub🍔
