Yup, Nix made Stein look good. This season his play calling is looking eerily similar to the disastrous Arroyo who was OC for 2 seasons during Justin Herbert's tenure. Blame it on Lanning who hires a young inexperienced OC instead of an older seasoned guy.
I really hope that Oregon doesn't fall into the competition model that is, essentially, “playing to your competition, lesser or greater, and hoping that enough of the breaks go your way resulting in a win. it is a recipe for a 8-4 season, at best. A season that has inexplicable losses against lesser teams and surprising wins against better teams. In comparison, Yes, Georgia is a very special program but the "competition model" that Georgia plays with is much different. Georgia DOES NOT CARE who you are, they come to play and will beat you into submission and run up the score and say “sorry - not sorry”. I think that this is the "Standard" that Coach Lanning wants his players to adopt. It ain't happening yet. Far from it.
Offensive coordinator got to go. Bottom line. Oregon has never had so much talent. And had never been held back like this. Id take mark helfrich over stein 10 out of 10 times

This is the best team money can buy. But it is obvious that the team has no chemistry. The offensive line is suspect
