This song hits so hard, my story is a little different to the meaning of the song but I feel like it still fits and it makes me kinda sad because the lyrics hit so hard. My ex best friend and I were so incredibly close and although we always got in to stupid arguments, we still cared so much for each other (well I cared so much for her anyway) She was never really a great friend tbh, as much as I wanted her to be she just wasn't but I'm not gonna get into that too much. I gave her my everything and I thought if I tried hard enough then maybe I'd get the same love back, she always said she was too busy whenever I asked ANYTHING. I fell quite ill in September and the lyrics "I'm lying in my bed, I've been in it since u left" kinda represents that fact for me because since being ill I've spent alot of my time in bed because I've been physically unable to which then caused me to really suffer mentally. She never called or messaged to check up on me, it just felt like she never cared. I miss her so much even after how horrible she was to me, I wish we could have been better friends and maybe one day in the future we can be. There are so many lyrics in this song that perfectly sum up how I'm feeling and what I've been through. Anyway I just want to thank u Dylan for creating a song that sounds amazing and fits so many people's stories, no matter how different they are. Ilysm ❤❤
