I think the violin part in Black Rose Immortal is Mikael's guitar playing by achieving the violin sound in his guitar he play with his guitar volume knob by increasing and decreasing the volume or on and off, it was a technique called volume swell. He also did that on the song The Apostle of Triumph. Btw, sorry for my bad explanation of the volume swell technique haha.
This track is crazy ! It's interesting that I haven't heard this song too much back then ! But I'm totally in love with this crazy ride now 🤘 and Mikael's vocal style is totally different, It gives Black Metal vibes so much and THAT scream at the end is gave me goosebumps 🤌 Thanks man for sharing your journey
You need to do To Bid You Farewell from the same album. Advent is a good one too.
Their best album. It had a huge atmosphere.

Well THAT is super interesting, and I've never heard of it. Thank you!!

@@RightManWrongPlace Always pleasure ✨👁️🔥
That weird, swampy synthy sound you liked is Johan Defarfalla playing fretless bass!
Beauuuutiful.
Yeah, it is very much raw black metal, progressive thing. Old Opeth is certainly something special and cool if you like it
Sometimes I don't like this one very much. Today I did though.
Thanks for making that happen! 😊
Hey you know, I do what I can! 😅
@@RightManWrongPlace 🙂
Mikael once said he think Morningrise is a pretentious album, I always guessed it´s because of this 20 min+ song.
That makes sense.
wooo I beat Floridabelle 😛
never really made the Diablo connection but yeah I can see it
Indeed you did. 🙂
It honestly doesn't take much to put me on a mental track relating to a handful of classic games. Hahaha
