I'd love it if you guys added a short sound clip of what these cars sound like revving up!
Same with me, I had a 91 BRG SE and it was a great car, but I didn’t want to modify a stock 1st special edition car. So now I have a 2001 Emerald Mica Green LS. Also love driving it... it is mostly stock but eventually I will want to either Turbo or Supercharge it. I like the FM kit, but I have to save a lot of pennies! LOL. Great video, keep them coming!
Great dual duty build, but where's the roll bar? Would put it in before the chassis bracing if plan doing several trackdays in future
How much boost? I have a NB2 and haven't pushed the FM1 Turbo Kit past 6psi as per FM recommendation. If I can push more with a reliable tune, that'd be nice to know!
What boost levels are you running on it?
How and where did you source the vvt an coversion id love to know more on swapping those annoying banjo vvt bolts to an line.
Such a nice set up! Should check out my turbo Miata
interesting ride height ,seem to have a lot of positive rake
That's probably just an optical illusion because of camera angle and lighting. The car is actually has a very balanced ride height front to rear.
Which NA is the one with the cipher wheel that you use to take pics of certain interior pieces? id like to know what some of the items on those are
If it's the blue car with the tan crash pad on the dash, that's Capn' Bob. We did a tour of that car as well, it's on our channel.
@@FlyinMiataVideo I dont think so. I believe it was a 1.8 with an all black interior. It had the cravenspeed shift knob and an IL motorsports console
@@graham_lewis I believe that was a customer car.
The color scheme is interesting.
I wouldn't use the word "interesting". Then-again, taste is a personal thing.
@@84imreplica Sometimes you just have to go with what you can get! This car started as a salvage project using multiple cars, so Mike was more concerned with the mechanical reliability and performance than with the looks. He eventually might wrap or paint the car to get it all one color.
Maybe I'm then only one who was really digging the color. Then again all my cars are hideous so by comparison this one looks great
Anyone know what year front bumper he has?
It's an oem NB2 bumper with the "big tupperware" oem lip. He's got the sides and rear as well, but they are not on the car at the moment.
