If you put only one washer on the backing pad, the lhr15es also does not stop rotating on the curved part and runs smoothly.
If you are already using the lhr15es model, do not buy a new mark 2 or mark 3 and use the washer on the lhr15es back-up pad.
I am a polishing technician from Korea with excellent polishing techniques.

Looking at my Rupes Bigfoot LHR15 and suddenly feeling inadequate. :) . . .Please consider doing an updated comparison video of *Dual-Action* versus *Forced* *Rotation* polishers, such as Rupes Bigfoot verses Flex tools.
