As a Dutch citizen I can tell you that they use that runway as standard departure, because all the others cause major noise polution to Amsterdam and its surrounding suburbs and towns. Drawbacks of having such a large airport in such a small country.

Landing speeds are not an airline policy, they are calculated within the FMC according to your weight.
Yes I am aware of that. But you can choose between different flap settings. And that could be influenced by airline policies.

Its the same, pretty much. And that is a good thing. Since the 777 for previous platforms was close to perfect already.

Yes, they did an update on sounds. I also think its better now.
Hi, I have a problem with the 777 from Pmdg. Whenever I want to set the initial position, the plane says that it is "not in database" and that at airports like Frankfurt or Hong Kong. does anyone have a solution for this?
A lot of airports don’t have stands in the database. All you really need though is to use the last gps position as your IRS position, and insert the airport code. It figures it out on its own after that.

You have to turn wide in the 777-300.
Yeah. The 777 especially the -300ER is a long plane. Careful steering is required and he is doing a great job of turning the aircraft
