Grant, is on it. He sometimes gets to glued to his plan and it didn't seem like he had answers. He doesn't seem to have trick plays or reverses or anything outside of his base gameplan. Another thing to think about is maybe we aren't going as fast because Heard and Campbell can't physically handle playing uptempo.

Our boys are back home after a month and I promise you the fan base will give their all for Tennessee Saturday night and so will the team.... Vols win big and keep the play off hopes alive ..... We Need to let Nico be Nico not just set in pocket it held back Dobbs we tried to protect him sometimes when we did he couldn’t get in Rhythem Hendon was same way he said himself I need to get that first run and hit out of the way to get rid of the nerves you recruited him because he is an amazing athlete LET him be that athlete.
Hubbs is exactly right about securing the FG at the end of the half before trying for something more.
That mystified me at the time. Some points beat no points.
Also back and TE pass protection seems iffy at best. Those guys are mobile enough to do better.

spent a lot of money on the o-line....not seeing the results.
I think Dane Davis should rotate in on a few series until Heard is back in game shape. I hate rotating on the OL but Heard is spent by the fourth quarter currently.
The only question I have on Nico is why he did not throw the ball into the endzone on the last play, you can not win without getting the ball on the endzone and it is the last play so who cares if it is incomplete, intercepted, or caught. You cannot win the game without scoring so throw the ball.
Anyone and I mean anyone calling for our head coaches job today is a damned lame brain and should never be taken seriously

Cause they also feared Hooker cause he would take off more often Nico needs to pull the ball and run more make them fear you
How are they expected to “take deep shots “ when we can’t protect t the QB long enough for the WRs to run down the field?
By the time they get down there Nico is either on his ass or running for his life

Seriously.. hell no sanders ain't gonna start.. Tennessee starts the best upper classmen... they don't play freshman... look at what they're doing to Matthews & Staley...
We don’t have a championship coach. Danny hasn’t hired any good coaches still. All the good coaches were hired by former AD’s. Even Fulmer hired a good one in the volleyball coach.
He actually has. He hired the rowing coach and they finished 3rd in the nation last year which was her first year. He hired the cross country coach and they had their highest finish in 20 years.

Absolutely NO ONE was willing to take the job
Considering the absolutely dire situation our program was in and how far we’ve come since the darkest day in the history of our program this football coach hire has been nothing short of a straight A hire
And the most important thing that he has accomplished is he has put us in a situation where one we finally do have to replace him as a coach he’s returned our program to a spot where other coach’s want you to job again so his replacement will be far easier to hire than before he got here
Its not high expectations to beat an unranked Arkansas. Most folks wouldn't be as alarmed about Nico, if he hadn't pulled a Milton on the final play. That play is inexcusable if its his first start. Stop making people feel wrong about obvious issues.
